Homely, fully equipped and cosy chalet

The gîte is fully equipped with lovely homely touches, really clean and comfortable and deceptively spacious. Gilles & Valerie are very helpful and there are plenty of guidebooks and leaflets in the gîte to borrow for the local area. Walks, cycle tracks, historic towns and of course the range of extinct volcanoes to explore. Rochefort Montagne, Mont-Doré and La Bourboule for food and light shopping; Clermont Ferrand for modern shopping and more historic buildings including a cathedral built from local volcanic stone. Great location in the countryside with opportunities to watch buzzards, red kites and eagles soaring overhead (they're very camera-shy!). Overall a fantastic tranquil location and temporary home.

Chalet cosy et cadre agréable

Séjour d'une semaine ressourcant dans un cadre calme et paisible. Chalet très confortable, aménagé avec goût, très bien equipé et impeccable avec vue sur la nature et les chevaux. A proximité des lacs et moins de 30 minutes de la station du mont dore. Epicerie à quelques minutes.
