About this property

This is a fantastic apartment in the heart of the historic (casco) area of Toledo. It couldn´t be situated in a better place. The Cathedral is less than 100 metres away, the Alcazar less than 200 metres. There is a small amount of on street parking and a garage space is available (email us for details).

The apartment is on the first floor and has 3 double bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds and the other bedroom has a double. Best of all the apartment has a terrace with beautiful views of the city. See the photos!!

This is an duplex apartment and two of the bedrooms are in the roof. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs and both have a shower. The living room is lovely and has a beautiful leather sofa and a 50' television. Also included is a kettle, toaster, microwave and a washing machine. All sheets and towels are provided. We have also provided a small selections of books so you can relax after a hard day exploring this truly beautiful, historic city.

Fantastic location, but needs a deep clean and some TLC.

This accommodation has a lot going for it - location, pet friendly, parking space and an outside terrace. The communication with the owner was also thorough, helpful and swift. However, the standard of cleanliness was very poor - debris on the living room floor, under beds; tea towels that were filthy and could not be used; under sink and utensil cupboards that hadn’t been cleaned for many months; chipped crockery; no privacy in the downstairs shower room as the door didn’t close properly; cobwebs on the walls; the outside space had debris on it, was full of weeds and needs properly sweeping and tidying to make it more welcoming and enjoyable for guests. I advised the owner of our groups’ disappointment - with photos - and despite a couple of concessions, was told I was nit picking! My feedback was to try and make other guest’s stays better, as currently they could be vastly improved.

Old town Toledo

Ideal for a few days exploring old town Toledo. Air con and lovely little roof terrace were very welcome. Wouldn't advise taking a large car into the old town or the apartment garage.

Great location, nice apartment, lovely stay.

Apartment exactly as described and very comfortable. Location is perfect for seeing all the sights of Toledo yet in a quiet backwater near the cathedral and very peaceful at night. If you have a car the basement garage is a bonus as car parking in Toledo is at a premium and expensive, most are also a good walk from the apartment. It's worth noting though that road access to the garage is narrow, so don't hire a 4x4 or similar! We left the car in the garage for most of our stay as we just didn't need it, even opting to go to Madrid by train (25 Euros return). Madrid station is also perfect for picking up the sightseeing bus across the main road by Mcdonald's, It's the only way to see Madrid in a day and pretty good value compared to other major city tours. Definitely recommend the apartment and the owner Danny is only a phone call away if you need him.

Cozy Apartment, Great Location

We stayed at Danny and Concha’s apartment in Toledo for 5 nights. The location is just steps away from the international school Fundacion Ortega y Gasset on Callejon de San Justa so if you are visiting your study-abroad student this is the place! The little terrace on the roof is wonderful. My daughter could wave to us from her window at school. :) There is a great little café around the corner called Virtudes. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and looks just like the pictures on the website. There’s a super comfy couch in the living room to sprawl on if it is raining and you can’t go up to the terrace. There’s a table full of guide books. The beds have wonderful down comforters. The ceilings in the 2 rooms upstairs have slanted wooden beams. Very romantic, but beware if you are over six feet tall. I could hear my sons hitting their heads but of course we didn’t laugh. Us? No. Never. :) Lots of utensils, glasses and gear are provided in the kitchen but only two wine glasses-- so try to be the first one in the door at night or just hide them in your room. Danny left a carton of milk for us upon arrival and little shampoo bottles in the bathrooms. There’s a blow dryer and a straightening iron, too. How’s that for hospitality? We looked fabulous all week. Danny kept in contact by email and met us at Virtudes. He showed us how to knock on the toilet if it chose not to function (it worked well all week) and how to flip the circuit breakers if the power went out (just once when we ran the washing machine). When I had trouble unlocking the door I called Danny, he answered immediately and talked me through it (keep turning to the left). If I had the chance to go to beautiful Toledo again I’d go back to this exact place.

We have tried to make this a home from home and have included lots of home comforts to help you relax as much as posible when you are not exploring our beautiful town Toledo. If you have any questions please let us know, we can help with airport transfers and taxis, advice on where to go and what to see, if you have children or babies we can also help as we are big kids ourselves and we have a 2 year old baby! Why they chose this property

This is a fantastic three (3) bedroom apartment that sleeps six adults comfortably and if you have children, could sleep eight if the kids are happy to be on a sofa bed. There are 3 double rooms and a double sofa bed. The house is in the historic Casco area of Toledo and as well as 3 double bedrooms also has a beautiful lounge and a terrace with spectacular views of Toledo and the river. There is one double bed and 4 individual beds, 2 in each room. The property is situated in the heart of Toledo and benefits from a garage space in the same building. There is also a small amount of on Street parking available and there is a public parking within 200 metres.

What makes this property unique

The house has a beautiful private terrace with spectacular views, a kettle, hair-dryer, DVD player and DVDS, books in both Spanish and English, 2 bathrooms with a shower in each. Free WIFI, a nespresso coffee machine and all the other amenities you would expect including plates, cutlery, fridge freezer, washing machine, pans and of course clean linen and towels. If you are staying for a week, the cleaner will come on the third or fourth day to clean the flat and change the towels and sheets.
