3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Apartment On Two Floors With 2 Terraces And Sea Views

Location,location,location! Our lovely duplex penthouse apartment is just 200 metres from the beach and minutes from the pedestrianised Mercadona plaza with its wide selection of international restaurants, banks, bars and cafes, many of which offer free wi-fi.

For us the jewel in the crown of the apartment is undoubtedly the beautiful terrace off the upstairs bedroom– very private and not overlooked - which offers panoramic sea views down to the mountains at the southern end of Mar Menor and over to La Manga.. You’ll love sitting on the terrace at night with a glass of wine under the stars enjoying the twinkling lights of the Mar Menor. For early risers you can catch romantic views of the sunrise over the sea. The terrace is furnished with table and 4 chairs, 2 sun beds and sun umbrella. You can also enjoy al-fresco dining on the downstairs terrace off the living room, where there is a table with 6 chairs and an awning to keep you cool in the summer. The upstairs terrace gets sun all morning and into the afternoon and the west facing downstairs terrace has sun in the afternoon/evening.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (two en-suite) so there is plenty of room for guests to spread out and have their own space if desired. The master bedroom has a double bed, the downstairs bedroom two single beds and the upstairs en-suite room 2 single beds. The striking red and white master bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom and superb sea views from the Juliet balcony. The apartment is painted in cool white throughout with different accents of colour in each of the rooms. There is a flat screen TV in the living-room with UK and SpanishTV channels and a DVD player. The upstairs bedroom has a TV with Spanish channels and the master bedroom a wall-mounted flat-screen TV showing Spanish channels.

The compact but sociable American-style kitchen is fully-equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and washing machine. There are air-con /heating units in the lounge/diner, master bedroom and upstairs bedroom and a ceiling fan in the third bedroom. There is an extra heater in the living room for cooler winter nights.

Due to the fact that our apartment is on the second floor with no lift, we wouldn’t consider it suitable for people with walking difficulties. Also there is a steep staircase up to the upstairs bedroom, which we feel would be unsuitable for young children and older people with mobility difficulties.

Please also note this is a non-smoking property and not suitable for pets.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location

We're a group of friends who have stayed in Los alcazares for quite a few years now but often further out, so this year we found this penthouse apartment which is literally 2 minutes from the beach and the restaurants and bars on the strip. The location is perfect. The apartment was lovely, it was fit for purpose and housed all of us quite comfortably. The roof top terrace was a great place to gather for a drink before heading out and the view of the mar menor was beautiful although you did require skill and concentration to master the stairs to it 😯. The first toilet was broken on arrival but quickly sorted by the next day so caused us no problem. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely return. Also, communication from Val and Jan was great from our first enquiry to the end. Thank you x

great location

the apartment had everything you could want. we are a group of four men and we were on a golfing trip. the location was great both for the beach and the bars and restaurants. the facilities in the apartment are excellent with two lovely terraces. altogether a great place and a great holiday.

Very spacious apartment, fabulous roof terrace with great views of beach, large terrace adjoining lounge space brilliant for lunchtime meals. 5 mins walk to wonderful beach, shops & bars. Approx 15 mins stroll to old town. Perfect location for everyone.

Less than 10 mins drive from San Javier airport costs approx 15 euro.

Great communication and support from the owner. Key holders so helpful & friendly. Would not hesitate booking this property again.

Apartment perfectly situated with seaview

Everything about the apartment ticked the boxes. The apartment had all the essentials required, a little dated but clean. We were met by Raimon who certainly has the Spanish charm. We wanted a place with a sea view and we got it from the balcony, which is where we spent the early mornings or late afternoons. The view from the main room in the early mornings is exactly as the picture is:- stunning. The beach was only a 5 -7 mins stroll from the apartment, with a nice long paved area to enjoy a walk or run. We ate out most evenings, as the strip had lots of restaurants and bars and was in close proximity . Very friendly owners in all the restaurants and pubs , as you walked past daily ,you were greeted as if you were a local and made to feel welcome. Thank you Val and Jan, we loved your home, will certainly be back.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

This apartment was a great find for us as it is right beside the main Loz Alcazares shopping Plaza and restaurants and within easy walking distance of the beach.

The owners are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in Los Alcazares.

GREAT HOUSE, PERFECT LOCATION

We had 4 adults and 1 child staying and the space was comfortable for us. It was ideal having 3 bathrooms as this really made a difference in the morning and after a day at the beach. The location is perfect with the beach a few minutes walk away and the restaurant/bar/supermarket area of Rio Nalon is a two minute walk in the opposite direction. The property is as described, is well maintained and the owners were always quick with responses. Hope to return soon. 5*

Although a car will enhance your stay – and we have a dedicated parking space outside the apartment - this is also a perfect location for people who don’t want to hire a car as everything is within walking distance and San Javier airport is only a few kilometres away. There are buses to Cartagena, Alicante and Murcia for those who want to explore further afield. The fabulous beach Playa de Las Palmeras is just a 3 minute walk away and there is a chiringuito beach bar/restaurant at the end of the road for beach side snacks and drinks. The pedestrianised Rio Nalon, with its many bars, cafes and restaurants is also about 200 metres walk.

For cyclists (hire available locally) the area is perfect, being flat with extensive cycle paths. Along the Los Alcazares seafront there is a 7 kilometre pedestrianised promenade – great for jogging, cycling or a leisurely stroll. Keen cyclists can also cycle to the nearby resorts of Santiago de la Ribera and Lo Pagan. From Lo Pagan there is a fabulous cycle ride across the salt flats to the Mediterranean beaches on the other side of the Mar Menor - and you'll be able to catch site of flamingos along the way. It's also possible to cycle to the resorts of Los Urrutias and Los Nietos at the southern end of the Mar Menor, and Cabo de Palos is a lovely seaside town to visit if you have a hire car.

For keen golfers there are 16 golf courses within a 25 km radius of Los Alcazares. The apartment would be ideal for golfers who prefer to be within walking distance of bars, restaurants and the beach.
