Situated in the province of Malaga, Frigiliana boasts an Arag-inspired historic town centre and spectacular nature all around. Enjoy incredible views of the Costa del Sol, troll along winding streets with covered passages and marvel at the glazed ceramic mosaics, telling stories of the area’s dramatic past.

A must-see is the 16th century palace of the Counts of Frigiliana, converted into a sugar refinery, and make sure you travel around Andalusia to experience its rich culture, incredible gastronomy and UNESCO World Heritage listed sites.

Approximately 71 km away you’ll find the provincial capital, Malaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. As the southernmost large city in Europe, it has one of the warmest winters and is one of the oldest cities in the world. The Museo Picasso Malaga is a must-see not only for the works of its namesake, but in the cellar lie the walls of an ancient Phoenician city. The 1st century Roman Theatre, the Gothic Church of Santiago, and the Basilica y Real Santuario de Santa Maria de la Victoria should not be missed either.
