Wonderful villa - highly recommended!

We have just returned from a family holiday and have to say the villa was wonderful. Set within easy reach of the coast and the beautiful town of Mijas, looking out both to the mountains and the sea, the views were stunning.

Pat and Renny were excellent in helping us organise the holiday, transfers etc. Chris, the owner, met us on arrival and could not be more helpful and friendly – he even drove us to the shops to get some provisions. We felt completely at home and knew help was available if we needed it.

A large table and patio area allowed us to eat outdoors the whole time and there were other outdoor chilling areas where people could relax away from the group if they wanted. The views of the sea from the upstairs large balcony were lovely.

The interior was excellent, beautifully furnished, clean, plenty of space and all the necessary electricals provided. The cooker was excellent and there were two BBQs outside. The air-conditioning was excellent. The extra drinks fridge was also welcome and much used!

Everyone, especially the grandchildren, loved the pool (big and deep enough to have a good swim) which was completely safe as it was separated from the villa by iron fencing and a lockable gate. There was plenty of room, sun loungers and space around the pool for all of us.

The whole family returned with fantastic memories that we will never forget. Highly recommended and we will return.

Beautiful Villa in a excellent location

My family have just returned from a short vacation at the wonderful Casita Caya.

The location was absolutely wonderful with a beautiful view from the pool area out towards the mountains near Mijas.

Booking the Villa was a delight to deal with, with Renny and Pat at the agency giving me some early sound advice throughout the booking process. Once everything had been complete we were then passed onto the owner Chris who provided excellent information on how to get there etc before we arrived. On the day of arrival we met Chris who made us feel well at home and guided us throughout the house and it's facilities.

The Villa itself was very clean and more than up to specifications mentioned in the advertisement. The location of the Villa, which is situated approx half way between Mijas and Fuengirola (for the kids) was perfect for my small family as nice restaurants + supermarkets etc were no more than a 5-10 min drive away - we could not ask for better as we tried to vary our days there.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Villa to whoever would like to stay in a lovely location not too far away from Malaga airport but want a complete breakaway with lovely surrounding countryside. The owner Chris could not do more to make us feel at home.

We will hopefully return sometime again!

Beautiful family villa with spectacular views, large terraces over looking the heated pool and gardens. Great to relax all day and BBQ all evening watching the kids enjoy the heated pool. Just a 7 minute walk from the Villa is the famous Lew Hoad Tennis & Paddle Club. Considered by many as one of the best sport complexes of the Costa del Sol, with seven Plexicushion Tennis Courts as well as six paddle courts, a large swimming pool, a well respected restaurant, gymnasium and health & beauty salon. Villa Casita Caya is well served with respected restaurants. In addition to the restaurant at the tennis club within 3 minutes walk we have Cortijo Hermanos Alba which in its beautiful setting specialises in Fish and seafood. Also serving regional specialities and traditional Spanish dishes from Northern Spain is Casa Navarra (Tel.: 0034 952 580 439). Renowned to all that live on the coast we have Restaurante Valparaiso, just a 2 minute car journey or a 15 minute walk.

Valparaiso’s reputation for wonderful food combined with alfresco dining and sophisticated entertainments of Dancing, Flamenco and Opera has been attracting the great and the good for some 25 years. In fact a wall at the restaurant is dedicated to the many world dignitaries and celebrities that have graced the venue.

For those with rental cars then Villa Casita Caya is ideally situated just 1 minute from the main Coast road and toll road. All the entertainments that the Costa Del Sol is so famous are within an easy 40 minutes drive. The historic landmarks and museums of Malaga, to the trendy buzz surrounding Puerto Banus, the 50+ golf courses or the many miles of sandy beaches are all but a short car journey.
