Quiet & Central Apartment With 2 Bederooms And 1,5 Bathrooms

The “Paseo de Gracia F” apartment is our latest of 4 apartments which we offer in this beautifully maintained building located on Barcelona’s wealthiest avenue; Passeig de Gracia. The location is just a few meters from the city’s main square called Plaza de Cataluña which is the center core of Barcelona and the connection between the Gothic Quarter and the Eixample district. Famous sights such as the Cathedral, Las Ramblas, the Boqueria market as well as Gaudi’s master pieces La Pedrera, Casa Battló and Sagrada Familia are all within a short walking distance from this apartment.

We equipped this unit with brand new quality furniture in March 2014 and started publishing it the month after.

From the moment that you walk into the beautiful marble entrance of this in 1890 constructed building you will be completely captivated.

This fantastic apartment has light parquet flooring throughout; the quality of the furnishings and tasteful decoration give the apartment a wonderfully modern and elegant look.

The living room comes with a comfortable sofa and a cozy black quality leather arm chair. This is the perfect spot to sit back in and relax. Plasma TV, DVD and wireless internet as well as DVDs and magazines are at the guest’s disposal. The sofa can be converted in one easy movement into a comfortable double bed for the 4th and 5th guest. Attached to the living room is the dining area with a 5 meter high window front which allows plenty of natural light (orientation south). The round glass table allows for up to 5 persons to have a breakfast or any meals.

The main bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom tastefully done in marble with bath/shower and fresh towels ready for use on arrival. Bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe form the en-suite, which is separated from the rest of the apartment. Further on there is a single room for one person available as well as a powder room with WC and sink.

Central heating and air condition are easy to control from within the lounge area.

Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. At the guest’s disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is oriented towards the interior (no street noise). This floor can be reached by a glass elevator or by walking up these classic white marble stairs.

The building’s community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance (you can read about him in reviews of our other apartments in this building). We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here.

Large well kept condo in the heart of everything

This was the second stop to our family European summer vacation and all I can say is wow! This condo was safe and secure set in the high end shopping area of Passeig de Gracia, only a few blocks away from the Plaza de Catalunya, the Gothic Area, and La Rambla. On top of that, the Metro station is right outside the building so transportation is easy. Also taxi cabs are not difficult to get in this area as well. The kitchen is large, the dining area is large with great light, it's extremely quiet on the backside of the building even though it is located in a busy area, and the bedrooms were perfect for a family of four. My boys were small enough to fit in the second bedroom but there is a sofa bed as well which we didn't need. The washer and dryer was also great to have since most places in Europe only have a washer and need drying racks. Also there is air conditioning in this home which is very rare in Europe so we appreciated that tremendously! Kitchen was well stocked and had cleaning supplies which in other places was not provided. We loved this rental so much and it served all that we needed for this great family vacation. We will definitely be back. On a side note, Marcel was great in getting us settled in and giving us great local recommendations in a complete binder with map and information. 5 star hospitality!

City centered and lovely!

We arrived and were greeted quickly, efficiently with a welcoming representative of the property manager - she was very sweet! The apartment building is centrally located and we felt very safe and secure.

The entry architecture is beautiful and you feel as if you've stepped back in time. There is an elevator should you need one, but the double staircases are so stunning, it felt wrong not to use them. We were able to easily walk to many sites, and the underground is right outside, easily taking us wherever we wanted to go. The apartment is quite nice, a good value and for the most part the photos are an accurate depiction. The kitchen was well equipped and though we didn't do much other than make coffee, make a quick breakfast and a snack or two, it was nice to have the ability to do so. The kitchen is sleekly designed and quite large! The decor is simple and contemporary. The apartment was clean, with plenty of storage. The beds were comfortable, and though we only used one, other than one night when one of us was snoring up a storm. ; )

Marcelo was quick to reply to problems we had with the air conditioning, though having the circuit breakers pop off at 2am and losing the air-conditioning was miserable due to the heat, however, that was not un-fixable.

We were given a binder with suggestions for restaurants and local sites, which was simply terrific as we were able to easily locate wonderful places for lunch and dinner - much appreciated! We like to feel like locals and this was a fabulous resource to help us on our way!

The only real downside is the view from the back balcony which is horrible. It's a storage unit for Tommy Hilfiger and a complete mess. Refuse, storage boxes and other unsightly items were strewn everywhere which was a disappointment. (Though beyond the property managers control) Suggestion: place a long planter on the balcony with something like bamboo or another screening plant.

This is an attractive and centrally located apartment which is comfortable, one that I would recommend and should we return to Barcelona, I would definetely consider renting it again!

It is true that from the balcony of the apartment we can see the terrace which belongs to the Tommy Hilfiger shop and on which they keep a shed in the back where they store some hangers and packaging. At the moment it is high season in Barcelona and the summer out sales are on. I think down in the shop they just have a lot of work at the moment and therefore didn't find the time to keep more order inside this shed. It is usually not like that. Perfect location and apartment

This apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. We met Andrea very easily at the apartment for check in and the apartment was clean, spacious with ample ementities for our stay. The location was perfect and well situated but also very quiet at night. Would stay there again for sure and highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment in the perfect location!

We absolutely loved this apartment! It is beautiful, spacious, well accommodated, and in the perfect place close to everything in Barcelona. The metro was literally right in front and so easy to navigate. Perfect walk to Las Ramblas and La Boqueria. Marcel met us at the door when we arrived and was so helpful. He had a book with maps and lists of important numbers, restaurants, etc. After 5 nights we were not ready to leave! I highly recommend this to anyone.

This wonderful apartment is located on the city's most elegant commercial boulevard, “Passeig de Gracia” only a few meters from Placa de Catalunia, the city's main square.

The Area surrounding the Apartment;

The guest staying at the Passeig de Gracia E apartment will be assured easy access to this lively Mediterranean city and will find that this apartment is a great spot from which to map out daily jaunts and from which to explore all that this fantastic city has to offer...

Most of Barcelona’s famous spots of interest such as Gaudi’s La Pedrera, the Picasso museum, the Cathedral, Las Ramblas with the well known Boqueria fresh food market, the old town with the gothic quarter and El Borne as well as the harbour are reachable within a few minutes walking (no transportation needed). If public transportation is needed for example to visit Gaudi’s park Guell or Sagrada Familia (the symbol of the city), there would be a metro station literally right in front of the building’s entrance with access to 3 lines (L2, L3 and L4). The L4 (yellow line) would bring guests also to the beaches Barceloneta, Port Olimpic/ Ciutadella, Marbella and Poble Nou. The line L3 (green line) would bring the guest for example to Barca’s impressive football stadium CAMP NOU. The underground metro in Barcelona is cheap and fast. There would also be the option to take a taxi which in Barcelona is also cheaper than in most western European cities. Taxis are circulating in this area 24h. There is a taxi stop right at the next street corner (15 meters from the apartment). To get to the beach from the apartment would take about 10 minutes (depending on the traffic) and would not cost more than 7,- Euros.

During the check-in procedure our guests will receive detailed explanations about everything that is useful and important to know when visiting this great city. We have a selection of restaurant and tapas bar recommendations prepared and will advise where to find the next grocery store, about shop opening hours, etc..
