Porte de L'Orme is a charming apartment within the ancient ramparts of Antibes complete with all modern conveniences.

The apartment is located on a picturesque cobbled-stoned street close to the Picasso Museum, Antibes' Provençal market, and azure-blue sandy beaches. Our apartment provides an ideal setting for a relaxing week on the Cote d'Azur. No driving needed to enjoy all of the restaurants, cafes and leisure activities in and around Antibes.

This two-bedroom apartment for three guests has been meticulously restored. We have maintained its original character while adding all modern conveniences. Our kitchen has all needed to prepare a gourmet meal with provisions from the Provencal market. For a restful holiday, our beds are equipped with extremely comfortable mattresses, crisp, white linens, and plush pillows.

We provide WiFi, cable TV, free local calls, L'Occitane bath products, and bath and beach towels.

We are located 20 minutes from the Nice Cote d'Azur Airport.

Quaint apartment in great location!

I recently stayed at Porte L'Orme for 8 Days. It was perfect for the three of us. It had plenty of amenities (soaps, linens, Nespresso machine, very comfortable beds,...). The location was great; steps from the sea, Picasso Museum, and the Marche Provencal. Our trip started with Suzanne welcoming us and providing useful information. She was helpful whenever we needed her. It is a 10-15 minute walk to train station where you can easily go anywhere including Nice, Monaco, Ventmille (Ventmiglia, Italy) and Cannes. So much at your fingertips. Of course, you do not have to leave the old village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Tom and Paul. We will definitely look you up if/when we return!

Charming house in center of Old Antibes.

When my husband and I were deciding on our itinerary for a return Fall trip to Europe, we asked each other : "Where would you like to return to if this were to be our last European trip?" Without a moment's hesitation, I chose Old Antibes but was specific about wanting to rent one of the properties offered by Paul and Tom. We had stayed in " Le Bateau" 5 years ago and were so impressed with the tasteful decor, location and comfort of that 2 floors/ 2 bedroom house. This time, we chose "Porte de L'Orme," a smaller ( but still charming) one bedroom little house one block from the Picasso Museum, the famous Marche D'Antibes and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Once again , the decor, furnishings, appliances and amenities were first class. We felt like old friends returning when we were greeted once again by the outgoing, knowledgeable and helpful Suzanne. This time, we even had a small view of the Promenade and sea from our living room window! We shopped everyday at the open market for our fresh bread, croissants, fruit, fish and vegetables. We walked to each of the nearby beaches and the swimming was still warm and pleasant in late September. We also took 2 day- trips using the local bus system. This time we did not have a car rental but managed easily without the hassles of parking etc. ...one to The Bonnard Museum outside of Cannes and the other to charming town of St. Paul de Vence and the Maight Foundation Museum. Nice is also a very quick bus ride from the new Bus/Train Transportion Hub in Antibes.

We certainly hope that this was NOT our last European trip but that we will once again return to my favorite place and be able to rent one of the other Antibes-Rental properties which look equally tempting on their website! Thank you again Paul, Tom and Suzanne!

Fabulous Vacation Rental

We loved our stay at this property in Antibes. The owners are obviously travelers themselves because they have thought of everything it takes to make the weary traveler comfortable (crisp white sheets, coffee maker, blow dryer, house well stocked, etc), The apartment is clean and charming and the location is superb. I almost hate to say how wonderful it is because it may not be available next time I come to Antibes. Staying in such a well appointed and well location made Antibes our favourite city on the French Riviera. We will be back!

Our Annual Holiday in Antibes

This year is our fifth stay in Tom and Paul's apartments and. as always. the properties are 5 star with personal welcome and plenty of choice to cater from 2 to 10 folk. All modern facilities are integrally placed in characterful and elegant properties that certainly live up to all the promotional material.

Port de l'Orme is a particular favourite of ours as it is so close to all the beaches, marina, markets and a stroll to the station should you wish to explore the Cote d'Azure

Antibes is a magnet and once visited, you will want to keep returning.

We highly recommend the service offered by Paul, Tom and the team as beautiful well appointed apartments in stunning surroundings is the anchor to a memorable and relaxing holiday.

You Can Have It All - Comfort, Style, Location

We stayed at Paul and Tom’s beautiful Porte de L’Orme vacation rental for two weeks in March. We completely agree with all the previous positive reviews of what and why an amazing place this is. Everything is perfect and to a very high standard - the apartment itself with its beautiful furnishings, high-end kitchen and bath amenities, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, and the location (one-half block to the Med – including a glimpse of the Sea, one-half block to the Picasso Museum, one-half block to the daily fruit and vegetable market, a short stroll to everything in the old town.) We couldn’t have been more pleased. Paul and Tom have several vacation rentals in Antibes. All have been created with their guests’ comfort in mind. The reservation process is easy and thorough. We do not hesitate to recommend Porte de L’Orme or any of their properties if you are seeking a memorable place to stay in wonderful Antibes

Set on one of the most picturesque streets of vieux Antibes between the Musée Picasso and the Marché Provençal, Porte de L'Orme provides the perfect setting to enjoy the quaint cobbled streets, casual cafés and glamorous beaches of the Cote d'Azur.

Gravette beach is located five minute walk from the apartment. This small beach is great for families with young children as it is very safe (sheltered from waves by a small breakwater). Antibes also boasts several private beaches with casual restaurants and beach seating available.

Visitors should also explore the larger beaches at Juan Les Pins, on the opposite side of the Cap d'Antibes, as well as its many restaurants and specialty shops.

Porte de L'Orme is located steps away from the daily Provencal market. Rosé wines, olives, lavender, seafood, cheeses, and fresh fruits and vegetables are among some of the specialties on offer.

Visitors should also check out the cathedral and the old ramparts of Antibes. The town has several museums, the best of which are the Picasso Museum and the Peynet Museum.
