Worst holiday we have ever had
Initially the owner did not give us the full address. We had to telephone the property manager who had very little English and she picked us up at our arrival bus stop after the 2nd call. We added 2 guests for 1 week and the cleaner asked for nearly double the original amount quoted by the owner in cash and also wanted extra cash to change the bed and vacuum the apartment during the middle of our stay. We felt it inappropriate to pay cash and asked for an invoice from the owner. We declined the offer of the cleaning and did it ourselves. The owner has refused to refund our damage deposit as he said that the cleaner found a white dog hair in the apartment. At no time did we have a dog in the premises, which the cleaner knew as she had picked us up at the bus stop and we informed the owner that it must have been there when we arrived. I have white hair and felt personally insulted by the inference. The owner has still not sent us an invoice reflecting what he originally quoted for the payment for the extra guests. We would not go back and we could not recommend this apartment to anybody.
