Two Bedroom + Two bathroom Villa with extremely Private Pool

Private 130sqm chalet in a 550 sqm plot, located in the lovely urbanization of La Paz in Puerto de la Cruz with private pool (8 METRES X 4 METRES) and BBQ near the Botanical Gardens. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a toilet, sitting room, dining room, and separate kitchen. Functional furniture, the house is not new and the mix of furniture is not the best in my opinión, but the house is clean and definitely the best of this chalet is its quiet but central situation and its privacy. A car is not necessary at all as it is within walking distance (60 metres) to restaurants, shops and supermarket. The large garden is extremely private. Wi-fi.

I recommend this house not only because its perfect location in Puerto de la Cruz, walking distance everywhere: restaurants, supermarkets, Botánical Gardens, bus stop, taxi stop, ect, but because the house is extremely ample. Extremely quiet area but good communications everywhere.

Great location for a relaxing time, good facilites.

Perfectly centrally located property for a relaxing week, ideal for the Botanical Gardens and local shops and restaurants. Easy walk downhill to the seafront but a little more effort required on the way back, though this is possible using walkways for almost the whole way.

The quiet residential area means that there was no chance of being disturbed by other holidaymakers, a situation sometimes encountered in multi-occupancy properties.

We found the kitchen facilities were more than adequate, the outside area a perfect place to relax, both in and out of the shade and we didn't need to use the lounge or TV.

Both bedrooms being en-suite was a plus, The mattresses are soft and could do with replacing.

Excellent property relaxing garden and pool area although cold water in February. Well provisioned

Property was fine but would have benefited from new mattresses and some form of heating or extra bedding as the evenings and nights are cold in February. 25 minute walk into town downhill caught taxis back very reasonable. Overall enjoyed our stay

Spacious, clean and well placed to enjoy Puerto without a car

We read all the previous reviews and were anxious about the "dated furniture" but it's simply classic furniture of the area. It doesn't detract from the property which is perfectly suited to walking into town (about 25 mins nice and slow - all downhill) (30 mins back uphill, but by then a glass or two of wine helps) The pool man came twice during our week there which gives confidence in the cleanliness of the pool (Freeeezing!!) The two sun-loungers were well used by us. The garden catches the sun perfectly. Karla welcomed us there and showed us around. There are plentiful clean towels but we would recommend taking basic supplies to the house as there are none on arrival. (Karla - the music centre was not working and this would make a nice addition to the facilities on offer.)

Amazing Villa, Pictures dont do it justice

Stayed here at start of July for 2 weeks as a couple

We have never booked a villa before and were bit unsure what it would be like. The pictures don’t do it justice. Like most of the reviews the villa could do with some updating but it doesn’t take anything away from the stay.

The house is perfect for shops and food. There is a small plaza across the main road that has some lovely restaurants. There is a small path at the end of the road that takes you onto the main street. There is a supermarket just at the main crossroads (It’s actually under the main building) and unless you know it’s there you would miss it.

We had a problem with the fridge, It needed a recharge with gas as it was not very cold, That was done very quick and we had a working fridge again in no time, Nothing was too much trouble for Karla or the owner.

The only downside we found which is no fault of the owners is that all the houses around the villa have dogs. In the middle of the night if one starts barking then it’s like a dog chorus. We had to shut all the windows which is a shame but that cuts out 80% of the noise. Just be aware (We are both dog owners ourselves so realise that these things happen) but if you had children it might keep them awake.

We have never stayed in a villa before and now we can’t go back to anything else. It’s a fantastic house, Quiet central location, Pool is lovely, House is very cool temperature wise. An amazing holiday.
