Valley Lane is a luxurious, comfortable spacious home in a beautiful peaceful setting, ideal for your family get-togethers or group retreats. It has beautiful gardens, lush with flowers, vegetables, herbs and fruits that you can harvest and use. It is child-friendly for families and also can be configured for couples or for retreats. Perfect for a large family group

The house exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of room for the smaller family groups to separate and have their own space if they needed it. Our group was 9 adults and 1 child made up of three smaller family groups. The house was very clean and extremely well equipped. The pool and garden is beautiful and again plenty of space and seating for all. The location was excellent with plenty to do and see in the area. The only thing that I would have liked in the house is a bit more information about the area and also how to use some of the appliances. The cooker took some figuring out and random button pressing. The process of renting and paying for the property was very easy. I would highly recommend this property. The property was spacious, well equiped, had plenty of parking and in a beautiful setting.

Perfect house for a large group weekend getaway!

We loved staying at David's property! It's well maintained and easy to find / settle into. There are spaces for 12 adults to sleep comfortably including lots of extra sheets and towels. The hot tub was a great touch on a slightly cool day, and the house's proximity to both parks and wineries couldn't be beat. The kitchen was super well stocked other than a few cooking staples (but we left our oil and seasonings behind for whoever is up next!) but that wasn't a major problem at all. David was communicative and accommodating as well, which was helpful. Definitely recommend.

Great spot for a weekend on the Russian River with friends

Had a wonderful weekend at Valley Lane getting together with a bunch of friends. The space was wonderful for relaxing with a large group, and variety of sleeping options was perfect. Kitchen was well-equipped, and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining area, pool, and hot tub.

Great place to see Russian River and Sonoma County. Was able to have a full family Christmas, house has everything you need. Would visit again.

Chuck & Sara grew up outside of New York City, went to Yale and Cornell, and raised their families in Sonoma County.

Why they chose this property

We have a large family with nine children, their spouses and 10 grandchildren. We bought this house so we could all be together and relax and visit, and enjoy the river, the woods, the ocean and the gardens. We love it.
