Little Nampara cottage was recently renovated by an expert team of builders, carpenter, electricians, decorators and plumber.

Although fully updated with tall the latest technology and conveniences our cottage is at heart an old, historic cottage with thick granite walls, originally used by the Nurserymen who tended the gardens at the Great Bassett estate, now Tehidy Country Park which surrounds the cottage.
With painstaking renovations now completed Pobbles Cottage now has 3 brand new contemporary bathrooms (2 en-suite with the double bedrooms - single or double beds) a new third bedroom known as the Bunk room, equipped with TV and play station & Wii (for kids of all ages), along with a new hand-fitted joinery made kitchen, with hard wood work-tops, fitting into the open plan living room and separate sun/dining room. The house, inside is essentially brand new - retaining the cottage charm, but with new rooms, decorated top to bottom with new furniture throughout.
We bought our cottage (as we have family nearby) and know what a hidden gem the Tehidy area is, combining breath-taking countryside, but being only a mile from the stunning coastline and Atlantic Ocean. We are an active outdoors family with passions for surfing, cycling, mountain biking and golf (we are adjacent to Cornwall’s famous Tehidy Park Golf Club). The sea is only around a mile away (Bassett Cove) and Pobbles is surrounded by world class beaches/surf spots of Portreath/Godrevy/Gwithian. Porthtowan, Chapel Porth, St Agnes and Perranporth are also a short drive away. There are also many miles of trails, footpaths, cycle paths and lanes - within Tehidy Country Park, the SW coastal path and beyond – all beginning at our Cottage gates.
It is also a beautiful, quiet and tranquil retreat, surrounded by breath-taking countryside.
With a large totally enclosed cottage garden, (2 lawns and a large shed for storing bikes and boards) it is ideal for both couples and families of all ages.
Based in the countryside at the end of a long tree lined private drive, our cottage has great access to the rest of Cornwall and is 10-15 minute drive from St Agnes and 20 minutes from Truro and St. Ives – Cornwall’s 3 finest towns.
This is our only cottage and we have done our best to create a stylish and comfortable home, with a touch of luxury, although we really bought it because of its special location.
The cottage has a brand new central heating system, along with wood burner, 3 newly installed modern bathrooms (2 showers, 1 bath), new painted hand-made wood shaker style kitchen, integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine, washing machine, new boutique-style decorations and furniture (sofas, armchairs and new dining suite for 6), large outside deck with teak table and chairs, BBQ, painted floor boards with quarry tiles throughout.
Little Nampara cottage has plenty of parking with private parking for 2 cars next to the garden and 3+ cars on the gravel drive leading to the house.
