Lovely small gite for two!

This gite is perfect for two people, one bedroom with a comfy bed and lots of little homely touches such as a kettle for your morning cuppa. A very good bathroom with a good shower. There was kitchenette facilities across the court yard with a gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer and a table for two for eating. . Claudine puts all used dishes into her dishwasher, so no washing up!! A good breakfast is included and was taken in the owners' conservatory overlooking the garden. Francis and Claudine are excellent hosts. There were comfy chairs to sit in the garden and the chateau nearby is within walking distance and well worth a visit (we went twice). There is a little café at the chateau. The area is very quiet but a short drive from Pontrieux which is a beautiful little town. There are lots of lovely places to visit in the area and Francis and Claudine were happy to recommend places and restaurants to eat out. Francis speaks English but a little French would be useful. We stayed for a week and our favourite place was the Rose Granite Coast about half an hours drive away. Be sure to make friends with Bunty the little West Highland terrier who is very sweet. Highly recommended.

Comme à la maison!

L'accueil et la convivialité de Francine et Claudine nous ont rendu notre séjour de 5 jours très agréable.Un grand intérêt de leur part à nous faire découvrir cette partie de la Bretagne avec de précieux conseils sur des endroits à visiter,plats à déguster...A noter la petite chambre coquette pour couple,le jardin fleuri et le silence qui y règne !Le most: le petit déjeuner fabuleux avec des produits maison offert par nos logeurs.On se sentait comme"en famille".Lucile et Philippe.

merveilleuse semaine de vacances, juin 2023

Nous avons eu une merveilleuse semaine ein Bretagne. La maison typique bretonne est idyllique avec un grand jardin bien entretenu et une vue magnifique sur le Château de Roche Jagu. Nous avons été cordialement accueillis par Claudine et Francis. Le matin, nous avons été gâtés avec un petit déjeuner breton et des friandises faites maison. Claudine et Francis nous ont aussi donné de bons conseils d'excursion et nous avons eu des conversations stimulées en francais et aussi en anglais. Une semaine de détente avec beaucoup d'impressions. Et il y a le petit chien Riok, que nous avons aussi enfermé dans notre cœur. Ça nous a beaucoup plu.
