The apartment is maintained by our Housekeeper & Co-ordinator extraordinaire, who prepares it immediately after the guests check out and it's therefore available 24/7.

I use a safe key system for storing the apartment keys, which means you have no hassle access regardless of your time of arrival.

We are available 24/7 if you have any urgent needs, which you must address immediately. I provide full mobile, email an IM contact details for us once you've booked the apartment.

Guest Access

Guests are provided with 'Andrew's local guide to Fulham' 2 weeks before they arrive.

This explains how to reach the apartment by planes, trains and automobiles as well as many local places you can visit, eat, drink or go to during your visit.

The apartment located in Waldemar Avenue, is on the ground floor and was fully refurbished in 2015. Access is through the front door from the Avenue into the main building and then through the apartment main door, which faces you as you enter.

There is one low step from street level to the main front door, which leads you to the apartment. So those arriving with prams, wheelchairs or heavy luggage will have straightforward and easy access into the apartment.

Once inside access to all room is on ground level, so it is straightforward for people with mobility issues to move around. There is one low step down from the kitchen into garden.

Access to the apartment is obtained through a set of keys, which are stored in a key safe and easily accessible for guests. Details for these are provided once the booking is confirmed and approximately 2 weeks in advance of your visit.

Guest Interaction

My approach is providing you, the guest, with the freedom you require to fully enjoy your stay. In advance of your arrival I will provide you with a 'welcome pack' that sets our contact details and what you need to know about the apartment when you arrive.

On arrival either Maddy, my housekeeper extraordinaire or I can meet you at the apartment, if requested. If you'd rather the privacy & intimacy to enter the apartment on your own we'll respect your request. After you'd checked in please do contact us via text or what's app message to confirm all is well or ask any initial questions.

During your stay do contact us at any time if you have any questions. On the morning of check out please let yourselves out and leave the keys in the safe. Maddy will arrive on or around 11h00 to undertake our check-out requirements. We'll contact if we have any concerns or find any personnel items belonging to you. Please have a safe onward journey.

Hi I'm Andrew - I moved to London in '85 and loved the fast paced hustle & bustle of London.

In 2010 I moved to Brussels to live & work. Today I spend my time between the two cities and where possible other locations.

I love the concept of fully furnished rental apartment where you walk in the door and everything is at hand as you would expect in your own home.

I pride myself in providing high quality furnished accommodation to non business and business people who are on the move. I have spent a lot of my working time traveling and know that branded accommodation become mundane after a while.

Why Andrew Marshall chose Fulham

Growing up in Dublin, Ireland could hardly be considered the as the prime motivator for wanting to live and own a property in Fulham. From an early age I had a found affection for the area whether it was University Boat Race, The Chelsea Flower Show, Fulham FC or the Riverside walks I cannot say or remember. However, when to opportunity presented itself I jumped in with both feet to buy and live in this smashing location.

The apartment, located minutes from the River Thames and Putney Bridge where the University Boat Race starts has its own private entrance and even a little garden! It a short walk to Putney, Hammersmith, Fulham, Bishops Park, which is ideal for the kids to play in and of course Central London and the City are on its doorstep for those with pressing retail therapy and business maters to attend to. Simplicity in itself!

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment, located in Fulham SW6 and it's within walking distance of many of London's sights, from the River Thames to Fulham Road to London's luxurious Kings Road to Chelsea Wharf to Kew Gardens to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park to Battersea Park & Power Station.

The Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, London Eye, West End, London's theatre land and the City of London are but 20-25 minutes by tube.

Location and Convenient

Excellent neighborhood and location close to public transit (bus, over ground and tube). Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Fulham area has great local restaurants and grocery stores all within walking distance. Andrew was an excellent host and was very easy to contact for arrival instructions and check in/out. The apartment was as advertised and everything was clean and in order. Very quite street and the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. You cannot have a more relaxed and convenient stay in London than at Andrew's apartment. For local fare the Fishery has excellent fish and chips (make a reservation) Sapori Sardinia has excellent Sardinian specialties and wine. Don't miss the full English breakfast at the Fulham House and the dinner at Pizzica has wonderful authentic Italian food. Thanks Andrew for an excellent stay.

AMAZING stay! Beautiful space! Wonderful location!

We had a WONDERFUL stay in Fulham at this darling place! The location was great! Nice and quiet street and super charming vibe. We loved having the shops, an amazing park and the metro all within close walking distance. We enjoyed all of these areas. At the end of the street, there's a delicious place called the Fulham house. They serve amazing coffee and food and have the NICEST waiter, so we ate breakfast there every morning. And the park & castle grounds that are one block away were wonderful for my 2 and 5 year old kids to explore. You MUST visit the Castle grounds! A real treat! Regarding the house, the interior was super clean, decorated with adorable touches and had everything we needed. We loved the large living room/TV room and the outdoor patio/garden space the best. We enjoyed tea and dinner outside and my kids would have dance parties out there everyday. At one point during our stay I needed help from the owner and he responded immediately. He helped us out, was available, lovely and VERY professional to talk to. Overall, my experience was really great. We would definitely come back! I would highly recommend staying here. You'll enjoy it and most importantly, you'll be in good hands. Priceless!!!!

Clean and comfortable in nice neighborhood

This property was well worth the reservation - apartment is extremely clean, well-stocked, organized, and well-represented in the details of the listing. Very detailed safety information is posted everywhere, and listing agents are very accommodating and have wonderful communication. We had no issues with check-in, check-out, or finding anything we needed. I was a bit anxious about a couple outings we had booked in the city that would have us getting back to the apartment via the tube after dark with our family of five (girls ages 18, 16, and 11), but the neighborhood is super quiet and safe, and it was never an issue at all. Cafe and pizzeria at end of the block are very convenient. Walk to the tube is all of the 10-15 minutes as indicated and involved crossing several streets/intersections - was never an issue for our family, but be sure to prepare for it. Also be sure to pack ear plugs if you have any light sleepers - the upstairs neighbors got quite loud with both the TV and laughter at times. (Obviously not something under the listing agent's control, but just be prepared!) We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodations in the southwest London area.

Not So Good for an Extended Stay

My family and I rented the Fulham flat for 13 days/12 nights. Day One: We found the refrigerator smelling of spoiled milk so the following morning I cleaned it with warm soapy water. Day Two: We still smelled what seemed like spoiled milk coming from the refrigerator, so I opened the freezer to find spilled ice cream and the freezer well overdue for a defrost and cleaning, so I scrubbed the stinky ice cream away and chipped away at the buildup of ice with a butter knife and hot water until the smell subsided. Day Three: When attempting to cook bacon in the oven, I found spilled burnt-on juices inside the oven and cooking racks and when I attempted to cook bacon, the oven smoked which caused the fire alarm to go off. Later during our stay, Andrew and I discussed these items and I showed him the cooked on juices inside the oven and he explained that the flat would not be rented for a few days after our stay, and he would have the maid service give more attention to cleaning the oven and defrosting the fridge. Days 1 through Day 12: we restricted our cooking to the stovetop to avoid smoking up the flat and when we took showers the flat became hot and steamy. During the mornings, we cracked the kitchen door and bathroom window to move air through the flat, and at night we weren’t comfortable leaving a door or window cracked and we sweated during the night EVERY NIGHT. Andrew informed me that the flat does not have an air conditioner or mobile fan, and he was nice enough to offer to reimburse me for the portable fan that I purchased during my stay. I decided to keep my fan and did not seek reimbursement. I requested maid service at the mid-point of our stay, but Andrew accidentally forgot to send her so we went several days without clean towels. We ended up buying bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths to use for the remainder of our stay. Andrew was nice enough to promptly reimburse me for the cost of missed maid service. I agree with other renters, that Andrew was very responsive prior to and during our stay. In our experience, the flat and the services that come with renting the flat are great for 1 to 3 night stays, but for extended stays such as ours, I regret to say that the flat was not in shape to accommodate an extended stay nor were enough support services provided to aid extended-stay renters. Not a good experience for us.

All around excellent experience

Perfect location and wonderful experience for our family of four. Andrew was always prompt in replying to any questions and very nice. The caretaker Maddie checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. The proximity to Bishop's park and the Thames, easy tube access points (District Line straight into center of London), and nice Fulham neighborhood all made this place perfect for us. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Clean Fulham house

Very clean and good Amenities. However the beds are very uncomfortable you can feel all the springs especially the bed settee. We had to put quilts on top but still didn't help. Location for us wasn't good and had to get lots of Taxi.
