Location is perfect

My wife and I stayed here for a week the location was excellent just outside a little village in the peaceful surroundings of Morvan Park we sat outside every night listening to the birds and watching the sun going down from the back deck the cottage itself is excellent everything we needed and very cosy would definitely recommend for anyone wishing to explore Burgundy.

Helemaal tot rust komen

We zijn de tweede helft van april 2019 hier geweest. Ondanks het matige weer hebben wij volop genoten van de omgeving. Met behulp van de wandelgids Le Morvan , 22 ballades et la randonnee Avallon-Vezelay-Avallon en 2 jours Editions Ouest-France. Telefoonverbinding is er in het huis nauwelijks. Maar zodra je even in de auto weg bent vaak wel. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk. Vanaf het terras heb je een weids uitzicht. We hebben genoten van de houtkachel, er is een grote voorraad hout aanwezig. Keuken, badkamer, toilet allemaal goed. We zijn zeker van plan een keer terug te komen.

A pretty cottage in a picture postcard setting

We were given a cordial welcome by the owner, who showed us round with explanations where necessary and gave us advice over where to go shopping. The gite was well equipped and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The weather was very wet with cool evenings. As a result we visited chateau etc rather than going walking in the rain, but we were warm at night thanks to the excellent wood burning stove.
