This modern and bright 1 bedroom apartment is on 4th floor (with lift) you have a very cosy living room with a sofa/bed and dining table and 4 chairs, flat screen TV and DVD (with english news channels) Internet/Wifi. From the living room you have double glazed patio doors onto a corner balcony (with views of sea, local area and overlooking the swimmingpool). There is a bathroom with bath and stand-in shower - large wash basin. There is a WC. There is a separate kitchen with full cooking facilities oven, cooking plate, fridge freezer and washing machine and full utensils. The bedroom is on the inside of building (very quiet) and has a king size good quality double bed. The pool is excellent and well maintained is open from mid May - end Sept. The building itself is only approx 10 years old and on 50 meters from beach. Included in the rental price is secure underground parking (if required)Perfect base for family or couple that love sea and swimming pool and would like parking space - bright and modern.

The location of the apartment is fabulous and the big corner balcony was perfect.

Although the apartment is located on a busy street, it doesn't detract from the experience. The balcony is great for coffee and breakfast or s glass of wine in the evening.

Fantastic appartment - great views from the balcony and super location

We had a marvelous 2 weeks at the end of july in this apartment. 2 adults and 2 teenagers could fit in. The teenagers were very happy with the WIFI, the adults were very happy with balcony (because it wraps around the building you could easily adjust if you wanted heat (sun) or less heat (shadow), and the views of the Mediterranean sea were great. I was a bit apprehensive about staying in Nice proper (we've always been staying a bit up in the moutains (Vence, Grasse etc.) with a bit more calm and quite), but it turns out that I'm very much a city dweller - I loved standing on the balcony and watching life unfold on the street below.

The apartment had all we could wish for (except maybe a toaster) - and the wife was extra happy that it included a washing machine. We ran out of hot water a couple of times, but we would do that almost everywhere whenever the 14 year old has had a shower. :-)

The private parking space was just an added bonus (but a good one - I'd hate to have to circle around to find a parking spot).

It's a 20 minute walk to Place Massena and the first 5 minutes up Rue De France are a bit boring, but otherwise it's a good trip with lots to see (street life). The local brasserie on the opposite corner is nothing special, but consider going inland for 5 minutes and you get some real unspoiled (by tourists) restaurants.

All in all we couldn't be happier and will definitely consider coming back.

Ideally Spot from Which to Explore Nice

We have used Go-Nice several times and they have always provided an excellent service both at the booking stage and during our stays. The apartment is ideally situated to explore Nice. There are plenty of good shops and restaurants opposite the apartment and the sea and Promenade des Anglais is only 150m away.

The apartment was very clean and adequately kitted out. The balcony running two sides of the apartment is wonderful, capturing sun/shade throughout the day. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Very GOOD STAY

Every thing was as expected and even more. One of our best experience of renting an apartment in another country. The staff we dealt with when we had a little problem with the balcony door was very efficient and helpful. We recommend this property mostly for its cleanliness, its location and the quality of its management.

A lot of space and a very useful pool. If you choose this apartment, please try out the restaurant in front "Le Magan". We ate there almost every night....

Lovely apartment, lovely weather!

The apartment was very easy to get to from Nice airport, and the detailed instructions (with photos!) about how to pick up the keys and get to the apartment were very useful. We arrived on an early flight, and were pleased that we could drop our luggage at the apartment and then go out for lunch while the staff came in to clean.

The apartment was ideal for my husband and I plus our teenage son, and he said the sofa bed was the most comfortable he has slept on! It was light and airy, with the balcony on two sides of the living room giving us the choice of a view of the swimming pool or a view of the sea! The pool was generally almost empty in the mornings but did get busy by late afternoon.

There were a couple of decent-sized supermarkets nearby, and the bakers was just over the road for that extra fresh bread for breakfast. There was a decent brasserie on the corner, but the only down side was that it was a long walk into the town for other eateries - we found it took about half an hour to the old town, rather than the 20 minutes suggested in the details, and we are fairly brisk walkers. It is a nice walk along the Promenade des Anglais, though!

There was a very convenient bus stop on the Prom, for the airport and towns west of Nice (eg Cannes, Antibes), and I think there is usually a bus stop right outside the apartment, but at the moment there are roadworks going on (these were quite noisy, but were intermittent - they would work one day, then have a couple of days off, and then be back again!). You can travel just about anywhere for 1.5 euros, which is a real bargain, and with the bus stop so close, we didn't bother with hiring a car.

Overall, this was a lovely apartment, and having the pool was great, with the beach being uncomfortably stony, but it was a little too far from the centre, which is why I have only given it four stars.

A lovely modern 1 bedroom apartment with swimmingpool - very well presented in a building only 10 years old in a great location only 50 meters from Promenade des Anglais and beach. This is a perfect location for a couple or family holiday - located in Magnan (West Nice) approx 1 mile from downtown nice (on bus route) and 50 meters from promenade and beach (there are plenty of local shops and resturants - but still within walking distance of central Nice approx 20 mins along promenade) there is also secure public parking under the building if required included in price.
