Beautiful location

This is a wonderful gite in a lovely location. Be prepared for the narrow lane to arrive at the property but the location is perfect for a relaxing break. The owners are friendly, very welcoming and helpful. On the edge of the forest there is lots of wildlife, with a wide range of birds as well as deer and foxes to be seen. On a clear night you will be amazed by the stars, and even if there's cloud the valley is stunning. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break. There is no WiFi but there are times when it's good to leave the internet behind (and if you can't do without there's always 4G). We loved our stay here.

Tranquil holiday home in a stunning location

My wife & I spent a wonderful 2 weeks in this lovely place. The amazing views and the location added up to a very relaxing break. Martine & Dominique were perfect hosts and the Apple juice and apple tart were a welcome gift. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the many local attractions but is also perfect if you just want to relax. There is a very efficient logburner to keep warm on chilly evenings or winters days. We did a lot of mountain biking and there was more than enough to satisfy us starting from the front door. The local amenities are a 5 minute drive away or if you enjoy hills a 20 min cycle ride. A vehicle is essential to access the property or visit local attractions. We have no hesitation in recomending the cottage. Thank you for helping us to have our best holiday ever.

Wonderful holiday

Everything about this holiday was amazing. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped . It overlooked a valley with magnificent views and walks. We saw deer and foxes and filmed them with a night camera. We were able to eat breakfast in the garden prior to our daily plans. Madame Antione is a very friendly lady and her myrtille tart was delicious and very welcome. I would definitely recommend this cottage for anyone wanting peace and quiet.
