In a 19th century town house, apartment renovated in a modern style: on the ground floor living room (TV, WiFi access), fitted and fully equipped kitchen (MO, LV, combi-congél, LL), complete crockery for 6 people , bathroom with WC. On the 1st floor, 2 very quiet bedrooms on the garden side (1 = 140 cm bed, 1 = 2 bunk beds). Sheets, towels and house provided. Beds made on arrival. Baby equipment on request.

Enjoyable stay

Extremely good location very close to shops, restaurants and all the sights of Bayeux. Beautiful private courtyard ideal for breakfast in the morning or relaxing in the evening with a few glasses of wine. The whole house was clean and Nathalie is excellent at communication. Unfortunately we were unable to get the tv or the Wi-Fi to work. Nathalie told me later the Wi-Fi had been accidentally switched off and I should have told her about it and she would have fixed it, which is fair enough but it wasn’t a big deal for us. My husband and I are in our 60s and found the spiral stairs tricky. We managed, but I feel the listing should mention that elderly people or those with mobility problems may struggle. On the whole though, we had a lovely holiday and if you can manage the stairs you couldn’t find a house in a better location. We loved Bayeux.

Bayeux Visit

Excellent location. Bayeux is a very interesting town/city...Great base to visit D-day beaches. The road was a little busy on occasion, and parking was a lottery.....but overall no big deal, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Perfect Bayeux!

Excellent location. Well equipped and absolutely spotless. Owner, very friendly and helpful. Great courtyard to sit outside. We would recommend.

Great property

Lovely gite with everything you could need, especially parking. Nathalie is a very welcoming generous host. Great location in Bayeux, easy walking distance to the sights and restaurants with a friendly bakery at the end of the road. Really enjoyed our time in Bayeux visiting the surrounding beaches and D-day museums, loved returning to the gite to relax in the courtyard garden. I would recommend this gite to anyone considering a stay Bayeux, hopefully we will be back ourselves one day.
