Beautiful accommodation, very well presented, quality quality quality

  • 5 of 5

We stayed from Friday to Monday, definitely not long enough. The annex had everything that you would need and a bit more. It was lovely seeing and hearing the little lambs in the morning calling for their bottle of milk. Definitely will go back as we loved the area and could not see everything that we wanted in such a short time.

Can't wait

Thankyou Jo, a great owner and host

The Annex is exactly as advertised, stylish and comfortable with modern finishes, but still charming and cozy. The location is perfect for day trips through the beautiful countryside to places like Stratford, Burford and other "twee" towns. Jo is knowledgable about the area and helped us with planning some of our excursions. The property is stunning and Jo's welcoming hospitality made our stay memorable. Two week old lambs were the icing on the cake for my wife who would have been content spending the entire weekend with them. The only wish is that we had more than two days.

Owner's Response: It is always a pleasure when visitors come from overseas and we are able to show them how beautiful our country/side is - you certainly packed in a lot from stratford, cotswold's twee to swindon greyhounds stadium (in one day!). The lambs have certainly enjoyed the sunshine this week - hopefully you will have an excuse to travel here again. Hope the business part of your visit went as well.

A beautiful self-contained property situated in a picturesque part of Gloucestershire!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away in this gorgeous little property! It is well presented, easy to find and in an idyllic location for verntuing into Gloucester, Tewkesbury or simply exploring the countryside and Forest of Dean. The owner Jo was very welcoming and at the same time left us to enjoy our short break. The property was well equipped for self-catering. The only things to be aware of are there is no sitting room, only a two seater bar table for dining in th kitchen and the water pressure is a little on the low side. It didn't affect our stay and the sheep added to the charm! We would happily visit again.

Owner's Response: So pleased you had a good weekend exploring the surrounding countryside. There is indeed only a bed/sitting room (double bed and two chairs) and two seater bar table in the kitchen which is fully detailed in writing and pictorially on the website. Delighted that you would happily visit again. There are even more sheep now as we started lambing yesterday.

A beautiful start to 2017

  • 5 of 5

The annex and location was perfect, could not fault a single thing. The property was clean and very well maintained, it had everything you needed and more. Jo was very welcoming and helpful in regards to our stay. I would highly recommend the Annex to family and friends and also plan on making a possible future trip back ourselves. The annex allowed us to have the peaceful, calm scenery we wanted to welcome in 2017. Fantastic time staying here and loved to come back!
