The Annex is exactly as advertised, stylish and comfortable with modern finishes, but still charming and cozy. The location is perfect for day trips through the beautiful countryside to places like Stratford, Burford and other "twee" towns. Jo is knowledgable about the area and helped us with planning some of our excursions. The property is stunning and Jo's welcoming hospitality made our stay memorable. Two week old lambs were the icing on the cake for my wife who would have been content spending the entire weekend with them. The only wish is that we had more than two days.
A beautiful self-contained property situated in a picturesque part of Gloucestershire!
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away in this gorgeous little property! It is well presented, easy to find and in an idyllic location for verntuing into Gloucester, Tewkesbury or simply exploring the countryside and Forest of Dean. The owner Jo was very welcoming and at the same time left us to enjoy our short break. The property was well equipped for self-catering. The only things to be aware of are there is no sitting room, only a two seater bar table for dining in th kitchen and the water pressure is a little on the low side. It didn't affect our stay and the sheep added to the charm! We would happily visit again.
Great welcome and accommodation
Fantastic facilities and great location. Would highly recommend.
A beautiful start to 2017
The annex and location was perfect, could not fault a single thing. The property was clean and very well maintained, it had everything you needed and more. Jo was very welcoming and helpful in regards to our stay. I would highly recommend the Annex to family and friends and also plan on making a possible future trip back ourselves. The annex allowed us to have the peaceful, calm scenery we wanted to welcome in 2017. Fantastic time staying here and loved to come back!
Lovely clean and cosy place to stay and stunning scenery.
great place to go to get away from town and city life . Very pretty would definitely come back.
Far better than any hotel
Massively impressed with the Annex. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. So many little extras, a map and suggestions of things to do. Exactly what we needed to help us escape from the fast pace of London. If you're looking for a weekend getaway in the country this is the perfect place to go. Jo was a fantastic host and made you feel right at home. Would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the perfect getaway weekend. Danielle & Rimar
