Central 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Comfortable First Floor Apartment

A sunny south-east facing apartment in a quiet development with the city centre attractions on its doorstep. The Playhouse theatre, Omni Centre (cinemas and restaurants), St James Centre (shopping), Tourist Information Centre and Princes Street are all within a 10 minute walk.

Both bedrooms have double beds with duvets and pure cotton bedding, and benefit from fitted wardrobes and drawer storage. One bedroom has en-suite facilities with a shower cubicle. Each has a hair dryer with convenient mirror. There is a separate bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath.

The lounge is bright and spacious with a bay window. It has leather sofas and is equipped with a flat screen TV and Blu Ray/DVD/Audio player. The bookcase has some DVDs, CD's, books and games for your enjoyment as well as tourist information. Unlimited free WiFi is provided. Please note that the apartment is for non-smoking guests only and is not suitable for children.

There is a fully equipped dining/kitchen which comfortably seats four adults. The equipment includes a gas hob and electric fan oven with grill, fridge, microwave oven, and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware should you wish to prepare more than breakfast.

A full central heating system provides heating and a plentiful supply of hot water. In addition, the lounge has a fireplace with electric fire.

The apartment is very centrally situated and a car is not necessary to enjoy all of Edinburgh's attractions. However, if you are travelling by car, there is free parking adjacent to the apartment by way of a parking permit, available on arrival.

The lift provides easy transport of your luggage to the apartment on the first floor.

The landlords are very nice and helpful, the place is very nice. Actually the photos dont show it that well. Is at walking distance to Waverley and other important places. We totally recommend it!!! (Two couples traveling together)

Great location, very well equipped apt with nice large rooms. Owner thought of everything!

This apartment was in a perfect location for restaurants, sightseeing, and driving as well. One-half block off of Leith Walk with everything you would need within a few blocks. We especially appreciated all the little things the apartment had, like maps, books, extra bath tissue, shopping bags, tape, full carton of milk, coffee. The internet was great-no problems, and the TV was very nice also. The manager was extremely nice, greeting us and getting us situated.

Normally I don't like to drive in the city, but with easy parking right outside our door, we had no problems! And I am in my sixties! We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness of the owner to the needs of a traveler. We would definitely stay here again if back in Edinburgh

Quiet, clean, convenient

My second stay at this flat, which is very conveniently situated just off Leith Walk, a ten to fifteen minute walk from Princes Street. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walk, the famous Valvona and Crolla shop is a five minute walk away and lots of buses pass at the end of the street to all parts of Edinburgh. The Royal Yacht Britannia is a short bus ride away in Leith. The flat itself is very clean and was warm and cosy for us in January. Very quiet at night if you need a quiet nights sleep. We were met by Bob who explained everything to us. Highly recommend and will visit again.

Perfect for our needs

This was my favourite apartment of the many I have rented in Britain. The location was great as it was just a 10 minute walk from the train station or the end of the tram from the airport, and it was only a block off a main street. Close to lots of bars and restaurants but a quiet place to stay.

The apartment was roomy, well set up, and very well stocked. Unlike others I have stayed at the living room was a comfortable place for 4 adults to unwind at the end of the day. The owners were prompt in their replies and the check in was very easy. When I come back to Edinburgh I will definitely try stay at this apartment again.

Great Apartment Stay in Edinburgh

We found this apartment well-located, very clean and comfortable. Bob, the property manager met us and showed us what we needed to know about the property. That was a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and nice to have two full baths to accommodate four adults. The kitchen was well-equipped and we ate in several nights. Wi-Fi was good. It was a bit of a walk to city centre but bus and Ubers were very available. We managed to get around just fine. Loved the Tesco Express steps away on the corner too. We highly recommend this apartment.

perfect for a city stay

The apartment is in a perfect location. It is fully equipped with everything you could need, the managers were lovely and all correspondence with the owner has been great. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends who are looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh.

You will be spoiled for choice of things to see and do in Edinburgh but here are some of the most popular. Historical sites include Edinburgh Castle, The Camera Obscura, Holyrood Palace, The Georgian House, the Museums of Scotland, the National Galleries of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy the outdoors with a walk around the Royal Botanic Garden, Inverleith Park, Princes Street Gardens or Holyrood Park, explore the village of Stockbridge with its individual shops and cafes, climb Calton Hill for a great view of Edinburgh and the River Forth, or visit the Giant Pandas - and a lot more - at Edinburgh Zoo. Many of these are within easy walking distance of the apartment but Edinburgh also has a comprehensive bus service for getting around. The nearest bus stop is only 200 metres from the apartment. Open top double deck bus tours are provided by a number of operators and are a great way of seeing the city.

If you wish to cook-in, there is a Tesco Express around the corner or for something special, Valvona & Crolla have a wonderful Italian delicatessen and restaurant on Elm Row. You can shop until you drop in the major outlets on Princes Street and George Street which run parallel. Ocean Terminal Mall is in Leith next to the Royal Yacht Britannia and, slightly further afield, on the west side of the city is the Gyle Shopping Centre. Both are easily reached by bus.
