Central 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Comfortable First Floor Apartment

A sunny south-east facing apartment in a quiet development with the city centre attractions on its doorstep. The Playhouse theatre, Omni Centre (cinemas and restaurants), St James Centre (shopping), Tourist Information Centre and Princes Street are all within a 10 minute walk.

Both bedrooms have double beds with duvets and pure cotton bedding, and benefit from fitted wardrobes and drawer storage. One bedroom has en-suite facilities with a shower cubicle. Each has a hair dryer with convenient mirror. There is a separate bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath.

The lounge is bright and spacious with a bay window. It has leather sofas and is equipped with a flat screen TV and Blu Ray/DVD/Audio player. The bookcase has some DVDs, CD's, books and games for your enjoyment as well as tourist information. Unlimited free WiFi is provided. Please note that the apartment is for non-smoking guests only and is not suitable for children.

There is a fully equipped dining/kitchen which comfortably seats four adults. The equipment includes a gas hob and electric fan oven with grill, fridge, microwave oven, and a washer/dryer. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware should you wish to prepare more than breakfast.

A full central heating system provides heating and a plentiful supply of hot water. In addition, the lounge has a fireplace with electric fire.

The apartment is very centrally situated and a car is not necessary to enjoy all of Edinburgh's attractions. However, if you are travelling by car, there is free parking adjacent to the apartment by way of a parking permit, available on arrival.

The lift provides easy transport of your luggage to the apartment on the first floor.

There are numerous excellent independent cafes, bars and restaurants within easy reach of the apartment as well as the recognized restaurant chains to be found in the Omni Centre. If you wish to cook-in, there is a Tesco Express around the corner or for something special, Valvona & Crolla have a wonderful Italian delicatessen and restaurant on Elm Row. You can shop until you drop in the major outlets on Princes Street and George Street which run parallel. Ocean Terminal Mall is in Leith next to the Royal Yacht Britannia and, slightly further afield, on the west side of the city is the Gyle Shopping Centre. Both are easily reached by bus.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location

We have just spent 3 nights in this apartment and myself, my partner and in laws loved it. It was their first trip to Edinburgh and it couldn’t have been in a better location for all the must sees whilst in Edinburgh.

The apartment has everything you need and more and we will definitely be back to stay.

Lovely flat in an excellent location.

Booking went smoothly and being met by Bob to let us in and explain everything about the flat and location was excellent. The location was a short walk from lots of the sights and shopping areas of Edinburgh. There are lots of places to eat and drink. Unfortunately we didn't manage to fit everything in on our three day stay. But will definitely be back!

A long weekend in central Edinburgh

Three of us, two retired, and our son who is profoundly deaf and has additional difficulties. We were greeted by the owner's agent as arranged and shown around. The flat was perfect for us. Two bathrooms, every piece of equipment provided. The heating was fine and the décor pleasant and spotlessly clean.

Two minutes walk away is a Tesco local and many restaurants. Princes street us about 15 mins walk away and the bus route to the Ocean Terminal is a few minutes walk away.

A parking permit is provided for visitors bringing a car.

Everything about this flat was conducive to a relaxed stay. Thank you owners for sharing your property.

Close in location in quiet apartment complex

Large two bedroom two bath unit with all the usual amenities. Communication with the owners was prompt and very helpful. We were met by the unit managers and they answered all our questions, helping us get a good start on our visit.The location is quiet, but nearby construction did make access a little tricky. Neighborhood restaurants were homey and the selection was good. Tesco Express was right around the corner, very convenient. Parking was easy. The royal mile is within easy walking distance starting with Holywood House. We would stay here again if we have an opportunity to return to Edinburgh.

You will be spoiled for choice of things to see and do in Edinburgh but here are some of the most popular. Historical sites include Edinburgh Castle, The Camera Obscura, Holyrood Palace, The Georgian House, the Museums of Scotland, the National Galleries of Scotland and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Enjoy the outdoors with a walk around the Royal Botanic Garden, Inverleith Park, Princes Street Gardens or Holyrood Park, explore the village of Stockbridge with its individual shops and cafes, climb Calton Hill for a great view of Edinburgh and the River Forth, or visit the Giant Pandas - and a lot more - at Edinburgh Zoo. Many of these are within easy walking distance of the apartment but Edinburgh also has a comprehensive bus service for getting around. The nearest bus stop is only 200 metres from the apartment. Open top double deck bus tours are provided by a number of operators and are a great way of seeing the city.
