Great location and friendly hosts
The Coach House was in an ideal location to explore many of the seaside villages and tourist attractions in Cornwall. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom recently updated. The seating area outside, although small, had a lovely view over a valley. The hosts were very friendly and thoughtful and included local food and homemade treats in a welcome pack. They provided helpful information about where to visit and park and even gave me a birthday gift. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We are Chris and Jags. We have been running the holiday cottage at the Old Rectory since 2012 and really enjoy meeting so many different people from different walks of life from all over the world. We are very easy going and happy to help out with local places to visit etc. We love living where we do in Cornwall and feel almost privileged to be the custodians of the lovely old building that the Old Rectory is. the grounds are a delight in the summer months and we hope you get to enjoy them as much as we do.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Coach House at the Old Rectory.

Why they chose this property

We spent 3 years trying to find the perfect location to both live and run a holiday cottage business until we found the Old Rectory. It is perfectly located for a quite retreat as it's rural yet close by to the sea and the main A38 which can then get you onto many various places to visit. We have taken many aspects from our travels to create the Coach House we we gutted and refurbished to a high level of comfort in 2012. Everything in the coach house and it's location is what we thought we would like from a holiday and judging by all the reviews on here and other sites everyone else seems to agree and like the cottage too.

What makes this property unique

We think you'll love the peace and quiet of the countryside at the Old Rectory and enjoy the view over the valley sat outside enjoying either a glass of wine or perhaps a local Tribute beer or local cider.
