Comfortable and very well equipped, excellent value

Monique's house is a gem - very well equipped and comfortable, but also with lots of character and many amusing touches in the decor. It's very practical - for example, the heating works well, the wifi is excellent, the kitchen has everything you could possibly want - but it also feels a bit different, with bedrooms like cabins and a large, pleasantly quirky, garden. It's very close to a good range of shops and the local market, and also to the sea front and train station, all of which are easily walkable, or you can use the bikes Monique provides. Excellent.

A lovely place to stay.. but don't tell everyone!

If you are looking for a really cute and very well presented property in a brilliant location then this is for you. Monique's house, for us, was just perfect as it is a little out of the ordinary design wise, which made our week away was so much fun. The house is very well fitted out .. a kitchen which has everything you could possibly need ( I do mean everything!) , the lounge is really very cosy and has more entertainment facilities than we have at home, the two bedrooms are situated on mezzanine floors (above the lounge and kitchen) which some people may think small but we found perfectly adequate for two adults and a teenager and the shower room is very clean and sparkly! The doorway to the house and the large windows make it feel very spacious inside . The outside has as much character as the inside . The wild flowers and abundance of potted plants make it very homely and the large decking area with dining table and coffee table areas (both with sun shades) give you even more room to relax. It's location is approx. 200m from one of the main shopping / restaurant areas and then another 200m to the beach itself. The addition of bikes make it a perfect location for a non driving holiday. Monique is also a fantastic host, both friendly and helpful. We could not have had a better time!

Génial

J'ai passé 1 mois dans cette charmante maison ou tout y est bien pensé, et tout le nécessaire à disposition. Le jardin est très agréable et sans aucun vis à vis. La plage et le centre ville de Chatellaillon sont à 5 mns à pied. Et je remercie encore la propriétaire pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et son sourire
