Beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

There were 7 adults and 2 teenagers and we loved the place. The kitchen is huge, backyard is enormous and gorgeous. There is plenty of parking, and a beautiful park down the road. The house is within walking distance of town center with restaurants, grocery and pubs, you can take the river walk to the center of town. Stop in the Angler Pub and see Brian, they are so nice. We would rent this home again and want to go back soon. You do have put euros in for the electric but it cost was minimal. The home was clean and well maintained, the internet was spotty due to 9 IPads and cell phones all trying to get online at the same time.

Wonderful experience!

  • 5 of 5

WellPark was exactly as advertised! Very roomy and inviting, with a family kitchen and sunroom, that my family of 7 enjoyed. Oughterard is a very easy walk, with a few small sops , pubs and restaurants. I would especially recommend the Greenway Cafe! We hope to be able to visit again.

Girly Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I organised a girly getaway for a group of 10 of us, before one of our closest girlfriend got married. We didn't want to be considered a cliché "hen do" but rather a chance to get out of Belfast and spend some quality time together. On a cold winter's weekend, Wellpark was a well chosen nook for this occasion. We cooked a fine feast together in the beautiful kitchen and ate around the big kitchen table. The cosy living room and open fire made for the perfect evening for wine, chats and laughs. And as the cold sun beamed into the conservatory on the Sunday morning we enjoyed breakfast and mimosas together.

Everyone appreciated the authentic vintage decor of the house and the bedrooms, everyone was comfortable and everyone had enough space to relax.

Only a short distance from Galway, we booked a local taxi company to take us to the city for a night out, which consisted of beautiful dinner and a few pints of Guiness, all very affordable.

I can't recommend Wellpark enough, I intend to return for a summer family vacation where we can enjoy the beautiful gardens, BBQ area and surrounding beauty of Connemara.

This house is for EVERYONE!

  • 5 of 5

If you live in the country(like we do), it was a treat for us to walk to church, to the butcher to pick out our own meat, to go out to eat and to the bars. If you live in the city and/or have children, you will love the large totally enclosed landscaped yard for outdoor fun. The men in our crowd especially loved the garden area to congregate and the women loved the sunroom even on a rainy day. The house reminded me of my Irish grandmothers home. We saved a lot of money, cooking all our own large Irish breakfasts in a very clean well equipped kitchen. The owner and managers are very pleasant and accommodating .You will always have hot water for showers and always have room for parking off street.
