Fantastic stay! Beautiful property! Lovely Vejer!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous house, that is so well equipped you will want for nothing. Vejer is a delight with great restaurants and bars. The surrounding area was nice to explore with lovely unspoilt beaches. We are a group of 4 couples and we would all love to return sometime.Just one little tip, we arrived late Sunday afternoon to find that no shops were open for some basic supplies, had we realised this we would have stopped en route at a supermarket. A brilliant stay - thank you!!

A beautifully appointed house, in a stunning location.

  • 5 of 5

Casa Juderia is a wonderful house in which to stay. Five bedrooms, each with own en suite, exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. The house looks better in real life than the pictures, I was enchanted on stepping through the entrance way from the narrow cobbled street into the central, whitewashed courtyard, drenched with light and walls decorated with various thriving pot plants. The courtyard and both main roof terraces provide excellent outdoor social spaces, the latter with stunning views over this very scenic town and surrounding countryside.

The evident attention to detail, both functionally and aesthetically, in the bedrooms and communal living spaces inside and out, make this house a pleasure to spend time in. The kitchen is very well equipped, loads of crockery, cutlery, glasses, serving dishes etc. There are loads of different places to eat and drink within 1 - 10 minutes easy walk of the house. The whole place was very clean and in pristine condition. The owner Susana was very responsive to my emails and phone call and was happy to provide an extra blow up bed on request. My friends and I were all thrilled with every aspect of Casa Juderia and every one of us would be very happy to return, given the opportunity.

Fantastic place!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at Susana's incredible house in Vejer! The place was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and just a pleasure to spend time in. The beds vere comfortable, the ensuite bathrooms were great and the kitchen was well-equipped. The rooftop terrace was a dream. There was plenty of space for socializing at home on the patio, terraces and the living room, but also easy opportunities for finding privacy to read a book by oneself. We loved all the beach accessories and used them daily. Parking was on the street, which was fine. No problems there. We had a small electrical problem while we were there, which was promptly and competently dealt with - excellent service by the lovely property manager and her people. We had beautiful weather while there, but noticed that the place is also well-equipped with dvds and books for when the weather turns. Thank you, Susana, for your patience and understanding re our changing plans and for accommodating us. We truly appreciate that. We'd love to return someday and, if so, would rent this place again in a heartbeat. This is truly a unique place and worth every euro! We highly recommend it!

Casa Juderia Vejer.

  • 5 of 5

What a great weeks break we just had at this amazing house. Granted the weather was virtually perfect but then so was pretty much everything else. The House is beautifully set out and equiped just like your home. The bedrooms are very private and allowed the 10 of us (from 7 to 73yrs) to be both together and apart as we wanted. There are terraces galor for sun or shade and the views are wonderful. The house was in the old quarter of Vejer inside the town's old stone walls. We were just a short walk away over the cobbled narrow streets from excellent restaurants and bars yet peacefully quiet. There is a choice from many lovely unspoilt beaches within 15-20 mins drive. Some have excellent beach restaurants - we had a lobster paella for lunch -something to die for.

Everything was immaculately clean and very well maintained. The owners provided excellent support.

Thoroughly recommed this for young and "older" Because of the hill top (small mountain) site, those who may be mobility challenged might find it a bit steep in places)

Gorgeous !!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house which was in a great location and very quiet and spacious. It was clean, well maintained, very well equipped and reflected accurately the information and photos on the website.

Susana was a perfect host and promptly resolved any queries.

We enjoyed being right in the Old town, great bars and restaurants, gorgeous beaches nearby, lovely fresh tuna from the fish market in Barbate, the Sulpture Park.

We loved it all

I would definitely recommend it to friends or family

Lovely spacious house in central location

  • 5 of 5

That house was charming. The central courtyard and patios were scenic and I'm sure would be fabulous in the summer. Unfortunately our weather wasn't quite warm enough to take full advantage.

The size of the place made our extended family vacation perfect; five bedrooms & five baths meant no one was waiting on the shower.

The kitchen was meant (and provisioned well) for cooking. There were plenty of beach towels and supplies there and we made good use of the kids' games.

The local people were great, the restaurants were convenient walks away.

Parking wasn't ideal but was manageable. We had a great time, and if we had to do it over we would spend more time just enjoying the place, and less day-trips although the location is an easy commute to Cadiz, Tarifa, Gibraltar, Trafalgar.

Loved it!

From the Owner

Because Vejer is fun, quirqy, so pretty and picturesque and much less touched or spoilt than the Mediterranean coast. We love the surrounding beaches and the abundance of things to do and we are very appreciative of the local cuisine and restaurants. Above all we relax and have fun, thats what holidays are about...

Nearest Airport : Jerez at 65 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Abaceria at 50 Metres Nearest Ferry : Cadiz at 57 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Monteenmedio at 9 Kilometres Nearest Train : San Fernando at 43 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A-48 at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : La Posta at 80 Metres Nearest Ski : Sierra Nevada at 350 Kilometres Nearest Beach : El Palmar (Vejer Costa) at 16 Kilometres Car: recommended

Vejer is a 'Pueblo Blanco' a labyrinth of white washed houses, winding cobbled streets, geranium filled courtyards and turreted walls perched 200 meters high above the surrounding countryside overlooking Natural Parks, the Atlantic Ocean, and Morocco on the horizon.

Casa Juderia is 5 bedroom en suite typical patio house, in the historical medieval quarter near the Convent and 5 min from Plaza Espana.

The property location is ideal with an array of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance but sufficiently secluded as to not pose a problem with noise, if you like your food Vejer offers plenty of good choices and it's relatively inexpensive comparing with other more popular resorts in Spain... and much much more authentic!

If you are a sushi lover you can't miss the tuna... to die for.

There is a good selection of beaches within 15/20 minutes drive.

If you want to surf El Palmar is the one where you can rent the equipment. Good nighlife too!

For a party head to Sajorami in Zahora,Canos de Meca.

Conil, Roche, Zahara, Bolonia...

If you are not a beach goer or simply want a break, how about a day trip to the sherry bodegas in Jerez, or a visit to another Pueblo Blanco? So many to choose from.

Whale watching in Tarifa is also great and if you are feeling adventurous, book a day trip to Morocco...

Soo much to do so little time.
