Lovely sweet cottage with great view.

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed being able to cook healthy meals and take great hikes just around the corner. Its 10 minutes from downtown Kenmare, but in a quiet serene area. Margaret the proprietor couldn't have been nicer.

Wonderful cozy cottage with great view.

  • 5 of 5

This lovely cottage has it all. Great view, comfortable furniture throughout and a terrific shower. Margaret keeps the cottage sparkling clean and provides excellent high quality cookware and appliances that are modern and work well. She lives nearby so she is always available with any assistance you may need. While the location is a little outside of Kenmare, if you have a car it is so worth it to stay here. It is so peaceful, quiet and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, listening to birds and just enjoying such a wonderful view. I can not stress enough how nice it was to find all furniture comfortable, all cookware in good condition and all appliances working properly. We have traveled extensively and hardly ever find that to be the case. We highly recommend this vacation cottage. You will not be disappointed.

A perfect place

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the area. The cottage was in a beautiful setting, very well appointed and immaculate and fully met our expectations. There was plenty to see and explore in this part of Kerry and we had some great walks as well as visiting historic sites. Kerford Cottage provides a great base for exploring the Ring of Beara and the Ring of Kerry and the local town of Kenmare offered a good mix of shops and places to eat out. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful and we hope to return at some future date.
