About the property

Thoroughly modernised 55 square metre flat in the heart of PDI

The flat is a generous 55 sq metres ( most one bedroom flats are 35 to 45 sq metres), one bedroom, one bathroom with American kitchen Our flat at the back peacefully overlooks the quiet bungalow area of Los Porches and the flat's own tennis courts.. The flat was refurbished with modern kitchen and bathroom and at Christmas 2015 new King size bed and 30 Mbs fibre optic wi fi were added. .There are two pools in sub tropical gardens with plenty of sunbeds getting sun all day. We are 10 minutes from the beach and the Dunes and 3 minutes to the Yumbo Centrum.

Buses stop outside to take you all over the island

The block is half residential and not used by tour operators so noisy groups are very unusual.

Smokers are welcome but we ask you to use our pleasant balcony

Semi retired hoteliers we took an ordinary guest house and got into the Which guide. We always aim for high standards and we hope the flat reflects this.We now live in Spain and the flat is looked after by a lovely couple who live close by. We use the flat a couple of times a year and wanted something which was more comfortable than the usual holiday flat. Given a choice of front or back of the building we chose the back because that far South facing the afternoon sun can be too much, many neighbours have extra blinds fitted but our balcony has a light and pleasant aspect.for outside sitting. The complex has plenty of sunbeds and we provide cushions and towels.

Well it was very convenient to the bus routes, the Yumbo centrum for shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. We were told it was the best block in Playa del Ingles and it may well be. two big pools, nice gardens, its own secure car park, two tennis courts, really good restaurants and a clinic with a SPAR opposite to act as a larder.

Beautiful clean & comfortable apartment in a great location

The apartment is lovely, clean, comfortable & has everything you need for your holiday. Safe & secure block with parking too. The owners & the couple who manage it are very friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of playa del ingles with lots of shops, bars & restaurants on the doorstep. Even with all this around, the apartment itself was quiet & peaceful. We had a lovely holiday & would love to return here next year. Highly recommended!

Perfect for a relaxing stay in the bustling resort of Playa Del Ingles.

Having recently returned from a two week stay in this lovely apartment I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for comfortable, homely accommodation within a safe and secure complex.

I have stayed in Playa for a number of years now in many different types of accommodation, all of which have been perfectly adequate, some quite clinical and uniform, others basic yet functional but none entirely comfortable. This apartment offers comfort in spades from the large double bed, comfy sofa to the reclining loungers on the balcony making it feel like a real home from home.

Getting there - The owner has friends on the island who take care of the apartment and offer transfers at a very good price. For any first timers to Playa Del Ingles they have a wealth of knowledge about what to do, places to go, restaurants etc. and are genuinely lovely people who will help if you have a problem.

Location - Everything is right on your doorstep with an array of restaurants below and around the complex, including a clinic for any emergencies. Opposite you will find a local Spar shop however I found the Hyperdino at the Yumbo Centre offered a better choice of products. The Yumbo Centre is literally two minutes walk around the corner if you are looking for daytime shopping or nightlife. I had originally thought that noise might be an issue due to proximity but this was not the case at all and I enjoyed uninterrupted sleep.

Facilities - The apartment has everything you will need from a full range of kitchen utensils, TV and DVD, plenty of storage and hot water whenever you need it. The air-con is a very welcome feature, particularly in the evening when heat seems to build up in the apartment.

Sunbathing - The balcony caught the morning sunshine and was the perfect place to start the day. As this faces the rear of the building, road noise was not a problem. Once the sun had gone over, the complex had a choice of two beautiful and very quiet pool areas to use for the remainder of the day.

Overall this was a very peaceful and relaxing holiday and the apartment was a great place to be. Communication with the owner and ease of booking was excellent and I look forward to returning next year.

Good location, nice flat

The flat has everything you need : good bed, terrasse, good internet, mirco wave owen, and even a washing machine :)

You can access 2 swimming pool but it's busy and not so much shade

it's quiet (unfortunately, they were rénovating a flat in our corridor ... but that's life)

The flat was clean, with furniture and many towels

The rates have to be given in sterling and are based on an exchange rate of 1.40. Therefore the weekly rate of 375 pounds translates as 525 euros. This is to give a reasonable euro rate when sterling is in such flux due to brexit. 375 pounds equals 550 euros, 350 pounds is 490 euros etc. We would prefer to set only a euro rate but this is not possible at present
