This multi-level house, completely renovated, on a private garden, is located in the immediate vicinity of a listed Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. It is located in the heart of the village of Ameugny, at the top of the nearby hill of Taizé (1 km), a few minutes by car from Cormatin. It has two terraces (one of which is sheltered by a Macanese gallery) and includes a large living room, a modern fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (2 double beds 140x190) and 2 bathrooms / WC, TV corner. Very bright house with many windows oriented in 4 directions. Electric heating and fireplace.

Silence in Ameugny....

We were looking for a self catering property in the proximity of Taize and this cute, older style property in the centre of Ameugny ticked all our boxes. It was quiet situated in the centre of this village with beautifull views over the surrounding countryside in a very pleasant garden. It was well equipped with a very confortable bed.. Perhaps a guide to the usuage of the modern, electric range would be usefull. Overall we recommend a stay in this property if you value peace, calm, good vues and warm sunshine...!

Well-renovated village house in an ideal location in southern Burgundy.

Comfortable and well-appointed house on 4 levels in a small Clunysois village. Pleasant outdoor areas for eating or relaxing. Close to major sites of interest such as the Château of Cormatin, the remains of the famous Cluny abbey, Taizé, and caves at Azé and Blanot. Also close to shops in Cormatin, Salornay-sur-Guye and Cluny. Attractive surrounding countryside of wooded hills and the valleys of the Grosne to the east and the Guye to the west. About an hour by car to the south to the Beaujolais and to the north the Côte d’Or.

A wonderful week in a charming place

We had one week end May, our second stay at the house after 5 years. The house is comfortable and perfect for two couples (or a family), a house furnished for regular longer stays. Fully equipped kitchen and perfect places to sit, either in the rustic/modern kitchen, at the lower patio in the shadow or at the upper terrace with full sun from sunrise till sunset. The house is situated in the small village Ameugny, 20 min from Cluny and 30 min from Tournus, petfect to explore Southern Burgundy, or to join the activities in the Taizé community in walking distance. We enjoyed a rich and happy week in the house, many thanks for this.

Ruhig, freundlich, nett - leider mit 1 großen Mangel

Das gut ausgestattete Haus - wunderbar im burgundischen Stil renoviert - liegt zentral, aber dennoch sehr ruhig mitten in Ameugny. Die beiden Bäder sind sehr klein, aber funktionell und vor allem sauber. Wir verbrachten dort mit norwegischen Freunden eine Woche im September. Sehr störend haben wir allerdings die Geruchsbelästigung durch den im Keller - direkt neben der Küche!!! - untergebrachten Pumpensumpf empfunden, in dem sich auch der Kühlschrank befindet. Dieser fände auch in der Küche Platz! (Der Tisch ist für 4 Personen sowieso überdimensioniert.) Außerdem würden wir Fliegengitter vor dem/n Schlafzimmerfenster/n empfehlen, die einen mückenstichfreien Aufenthalt ermöglichten.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir fahren seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig nach Ameugny/Taizé und haben unterschiedliche Häuser für den Urlaub gemietet. In diesem Haus haben wir uns bislang am meisten wohlgefühlt. Warum? Als erstes ist die Lage des Grundstücks hervorragend. Direkt an der alten Kirche in Ameugny gelegen, Taizé ist fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Und man ist auch schnell in Cormatin beim Bäcker. Das Haus hat durch die unterschiedliche Ebenen und die zwei Terrassen einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Aufteilung war für uns Ideal. Die Kinder haben den Garten zum Spielen genutzt und die Terrassen luden zum Entspannen ein. Durch die zwei Bäder gab es auch keinen Stau beim Duschen oder den Toiletten. Die große Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was zum Zubereiten von Mahlzeiten notwendig ist. Der Induktionsherd ist super und die Spülmaschine ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat super funktioniert, der Kontakt zu Antoinette war sehr nett und herzlich. Alles ist in einem gepflegten und wohnlichen Zustand. Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank an Monsieur Mouchot für dieses schöne Ferienhaus in dieser für uns besonderen Region!
