Excellent Property and Location

For those who want a stay in a lovely property with all facilities and an excellent host (Isabelle) then this is it. The town of St Valery sur Somme has history, fascinating wildlife on the salt marshes as well, as you would expect, in a French town excellent restaurants. Thoroughly recommended

Home From Home in St Valery sur Somme

The lovely house has everything one needs for a great holiday. The kitchen and bathroom were very well planned and equipped. The beds were most comfortable and the bedding was top quality. Isabel, the host. Made us very welcome; she gave us clear information and good ideas. The terrace/garden was a joy to use and we parked our bikes there. Parking behind the house wad plentiful. The location was perfect: two boulongeries within 50 metres!

A lovely house and location

Exactly as it appears in the pictures. Comfortable and welcoming and a great location only a few minutes walk from the river and the centre of town and a boulangerie just around the corner. We loved it and will be returning.

Great weather for the week and this house is close to the centre of St Valery with all its charms.

This delightfully appointed and decorated house has all that you need for a stay in St Valery being situated just a short walk from the Banks of the Somme and glorious views across the Bay. A steam engine ride to Le Crotoy is a must and you are spoilt for choice for places to eat in both towns. The house is situated on the edge of the medieval part of St Valery which is again well worth exploring. For our part we took bicycles and cycled around some of the several well marked cycle routes normally along quiet roads or purpose built cycle ways. If you don’t have a bike there are several places that hire them out. All in all we had a glorious week with above average temperatures for the time of year.
