About this property

In the heart of Purple Perigord, close to the vineyards of Bergerac and medieval houses, we will be pleased to welcome you to our holiday in Leydou for a peaceful and conditioner!

In the midst of two hectares of land, our gite for 4 to 8 seats, is the first part of an old farmhouse recently renovated in 1820 respecting the Perigord architecture.

The accommodation comprises on the ground floor of:

- A living room / dining room / kitchen of 50 m2.
The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob, electric oven, American fridge with freezer compartment and ice machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, hood, and all the small electrical appliances,
-A bedroom of 12 m2 with a double bed 160x200 cm (adjustable in 2 single beds in 80 x 200 cm)
-A large bathroom with shower and bath,
-A toilet.

Upstairs :

- A room of 13 m2 with a double bed 160 x 200 cm (adjustable in 2 single beds in 80 x 200 cm)
- A room of 11 m2 with a double bed 160 x 200 cm (adjustable in 2 single beds in 80 x 200 cm),
- A mezzanine with sofa "click-clac" with play area for children and rest.

WIFI, TV with decoder TNT are available.

A heated swimming pool will be ready to relax you during your stay and you will also benefit from various terraces with garden furniture and barbecue.

French Delight

We had a great Holiday Cleanest Villa ever - Fantastic Pool - Kitchen and Bathroom outstanding - Top quality beds and bedding - Best for max 6 - 8 is pushing it a bit unless you have kids - You needed to be a potholer to gain access to the Mezzanine but fun for kids - No Information book or instructions for cooker and hob - Only limited space to hang and store clothing - We did not use the TV as the Satellite card was French and out of date, but who needs TV when you have The Greatest Pool ever and Sun to go with it.

Clean, fresh and comfortable

This would have to be one of the nicest properties we have stayed in in France. The facilities were clean and fresh/modern and the heated pool was absolutely fantastic. The property is very well maintained and private and close to Issigeac. No sirens, no air traffic, no tube, no trains, no cars, WoOt!

Great property and location

We were a family of 4 (boys 10 and 13). We took 2 days to travel down from Calais (stopped at Amiens and Le Mans) and 2 days to travel back up (stopped at Blois and Arras). The barn conversion was lovely. Very clean, simple, modern and spacious. The pool was wonderful. Again clean and modern. Best pool we have had with a rental. The owner was very helpful and spoke good English. The area was very rural which we liked. Villages were frequent and near. Nearest large supermarkets were near Bergerac but there were plenty of smaller ones if needed around the Dordogne river area. We all enjoyed 1/2 day canoeing on the Dordogne and another day, Vezere. Both locations (Vitrac and Les Eyzies) were reachable within an hour which was acceptable to us. Both canoe companies used were good. The boys did rock climbing (for free) at Les Jardins de Marqueyssac, which was an added bonus and memorable. The Sunday market at Issigeac is very busy and lively. We would recommend this holiday rental. Thank you Nathelene.

Geweldige plek voor vakantie!

Een zeer nette, goed uitgeruste, luxueuze en mooie woning met alle faciliteiten en alle ruimte die je kunt wensen. Het zwembad is heerlijk en de buitenruimte fantastisch. Het contact met de host was zeer prettig. Absoluut een aanrader!
