About Neil Lentin

Neil and Linda Lentin reside in Hollywood, FL and Beech Mountain, NC. Linda is a semi retired Educator and Neil is a Manufacturer's Rep selling lighting and home furnishings, an internet retailer and part time travel agent. Our passion is Beech Mountain, NC where we have many close friends, many who also live part time there and in Florida.

Neil Lentin purchased this townhome in 2005

Why Neil Lentin chose High Country & Blue Ridge Mountains

We fell in love with the view from each room of 4 states and 4 mountain ranges. Also, the proximity to Ski Beech and many fine and casual restaurants.

What makes this townhome unique

The fresh mountain air and walking the ups and downs of the surrounding terrain. All kinds of nearby attractions, the cultural events from the 2 local colleges close by. Lee's McCrea and Appalachian State which is part of UNC University system. The restaurants and culture of downtown old Boone and good shopping. Also, proximity to the artsy town of Blowing Rock with its fine shops, galleries, the new Brahm Art Museum and the Tanger Outlet Mall. Nearby Jonesboro Story Telling center with interesting stores and historic places, is the oldest town in Tennessee. Great chain store shopping in the next town, Johnson City, Tn.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I definitely understand finding time to do things.

Thanks for the extra time. We actually left around 8 that morning before I read your email. It wouldn't have made any difference in our departure time. We planned to go to Beech for the morning ski session.

I'm very glad I didn't wake you up when we arrived and that you had a solution to the key.

We had a great time even though the weather didn't cooperate. The view of the mountains is lovely and the kids really enjoyed the games.

Thanks for sharing your home.

Spacious and comfortable with unbelievable views!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful 16 days in this townhome! I don't want to leave! The views are the best feature of this home with plenty of decks to enjoy them! The master bedroom is on the top floor so nice and private. The unit is well stocked with supplies that you need for your stay. There are Beech Mountain Club guest privileges to add to the enjoyment. The owner goes way above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! I recommend this property.

Great Spring Ski Weekend!

  • 4 of 5

My son was out of school for a Friday so we took advantage of the extra day to ski Beech Mountain before the season ended. Neil was fantastic to work with - as we were somewhat late booking. His condo was comfortable and complete with everything we needed. He made sure everything was taken care of before our arrival. Great floor plan for our stay too, as the kids stayed downstairs, the master bedroom is upstairs and the main living area is in between; it's a great set up and only 3 to 4 minute drive to the slopes. It was nice to stay in a condo/home that is obviously loved and regularly used by the owners, a nice home away from home feel. Just what we were looking for! I would recommend the Lentin's Red Rooster Inn!

Enjoyable Stay on Beech Mountain

  • 4 of 5

My family of 5 recently stayed in this condominium for a long weekend visit. It was just what we expected because of the helpful YouTube video we were able to view. It was very clean when we arrived and we found all that we needed in the kitchen. The visitor's guide that the owners made available to us was helpful and provided a number for a local property manager should we have any issues.

We went in early Spring, so there was not an overabundance of tourists around. A few more weeks into the season, and more foliage would have been blooming. We still had such an amazing time! We hiked Grandfather Mountain, visited the original Mast General store in Valle Crucis, went to Boone's downtown, hiked the best trail, Boone Fork, and ate pizza from Bullwinkle's. All of us agreed that it was one of the best times we've experienced and would love to go back in the summer for rafting and more hiking/biking.

I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for anyone wanting to get away to the Western Carolina mountains.

Cozy Home, Great Location

  • 5 of 5

The Lentin's were super helpful and great to work with when renting their property. This property is one of the few I've rented that absolutely has everything you might need during your stay. Such a cozy and inviting home that would be perfect for a family getaway or like us a group of friends looking for a place to stay on a Snowboarding trip. Super convenient to the ski slopes and comfortably slept the 7 of us that were on the trip with enough space for it not to feel over crowded. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking and you can't beat the price either! All of us would definitely rent this place again in a heart beat if we are ever back to Beech Mountain.

Red Roof Inn is Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was amazing! I've been coming to this area for years and just love the scenery, food, the skiing and what's close by. This condo has a full size washer and dryer which is nice if you have a large group, the furniture is nice and comfortable and the views are some of the best in the Beech Mountain area. Two balconies have unobstructed views and we really enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommend.

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Lots of room for six people, the kitchen was well furnished and plenty of linen, towels and such.

Very close to Ski Beech and sledding downtown.

The Wi-FI was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

There was 10 inches of snow when we arrived so the skiing and sledding was great.

Lots of places close by to eat out; everything from Mexican, BBQ to burgers.

Had fun visiting Mast General Store, Boone and local stores in Beech Mountain and Banner Elk.

We would love to come back as soon as possible.
