Pretty village house 300m walk from the countryside (vineyards and gentle mountains); guaranteed hikes. You will discover a small enclosed courtyard in the shade and an enclosed flower garden with wooden terrace, small swimming pool and waterfall facing south. Shade cloths and garden furniture are at your disposal to fully enjoy the calm sun. The rooms are fresh, comfortable (2 beds of 160 and 2 twins of 90) but have kept the charm of yesteryear: French ceilings, old doors and floors. Stone is omnipresent in the night hall and the large living room. The latter, bright, has a flat screen, a mini-chain, a wood stove for winter weekends and opens onto the garden.

A lovely stay

We had a lovely, relaxing week here. The property was presented beautifully, and had been renovated to a high standard. I would return if I were in the area again.

Lovely corner of Provence

Lovely little village in the heart of wine country. Some beautiful places to visit and of course the wine! Colette and Arnaud were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The house has been restored with a sense of style whilst retaining the character. The terrace off the top living floor was very private and comfortable. The plunge pool allowed a welcome respite from the heat. We soon felt at home here and enjoyed exploring the local wineries, towns and villages. The best meal enjoyed was at O’Rabasse in Richerenches in a village very close by. Sophisticated and inventive menu.

Great family vacation

As a family of five we spent a lovely vacation at Gallenclère. The house is wonderful - a truely original provencal building which is uniquely renovated and decorated. All rooms were clean and comfortable. The little garden with terrace and pool is perfect for having relaxed days with barbecue etc. We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to come back.

Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend und gut ausgestattet, es bietet viel Platz. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Die Gastgeber Arnaud und Colette sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn sich die Gelegenheit bietet, kommen wir gerne wieder!
