Daisy Cottage is a stunning and exceptionally well presented 3 bedroom granite holiday cottage, situated in a prime location of the award winning Saltings Reach development just on the outskirts of St Ives.
Tucked away in a peaceful cul de sac within easy walking distance of the cottage is the scenic coastal railway which in just two stops takes you to St Ives. Peruse the many galleries, bijou shops or artists at work, choose from a wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops and bars to eat then pass the time of day watching the world go by.
Only a few minutes drive to the white sands and turquoise waters of Carbis Bay Beach so great for lazy days on the beach.
Daisy Cottage is simply superb and provides a wonderful escape, perfect for couples and families. Whether you are looking to relax on the beach or an energetic mix adventure there is something here for you!
Internally this delightful holiday cottage has 3 excellent bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen & dining area, hallway, living room and sun room.
On the ground floor there is a super contemporary open plan kitchen which is fully equipped with integrated appliances and dining area with seating for six. A large wonderfully comfortable and welcoming living room with French doors leading into a delightful sun room and then out in to the garden.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a relaxing feel with a king size bed and it's own en-suite which has a large shower, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a double bed and third bedroom has twin beds. All beds are made up with fresh, crisp white bed linen and towels.
The main family bathroom consists of a bath with overhead power shower, heated towel rail, wash hand basin, toilet.
Externally there is a pretty, sunny enclosed garden with patio area great for alfresco dining, garage and car parking space. The close proximity to the quaint branch line train stations gives guests the option of leaving the car at home and popping on the train in and out of town.
Daisy Cottage is beautifully staged to Cornish Tourist Board Standards and will sleep 6 guests in total comfort.

Gorgeous accommodation, well presented, very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely sun room and small garden at the back complete with furniture, along with private parking. Only 2 minutes walk to the coastal railway line and trains run approx every 30 mins into St.Ives so no need to take the car. We can also highly recommend the five minute walk to The Watermill pub which has a good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. All in all perfect accommodation in a lovely quiet location with everything you need on the doorstep. Communication with Lucy was very prompt and a welcome bottle of wine and cakes on our arrival. We would have no hesitation of recommending and booking Daisy cottage again.
Lovely cottage, very clean and well looked after. In a nice area, station 5 minutes walk away which takes you to Carbis Bay and St Ives in 10 minutes no need to get the car out. Beautiful beaches ideal for families. We walked to St Ives one day coastal route its quite challenging but we enjoyed it. Lovely wine bar at the end of the road. We ate in Gannet Inn and Quay House and found both nice, although we preferred the Gannet Inn. Tesco and Asda only a few minutes away. There is a lot to see in the area and plenty of places to visit within an hour drive. St Ives is lovely although my 80 year old parents found it quite hilly.
All in all had a lovely week and would definitely return, Lucy was very helpful, before our visit with everything we needed to know. We were very sad to leave.
Lovely property, well equipped with everything required for an excellent self catering holiday. Great location with easy access to Lelant station (2 min walk)and a 10 min car journey outside St Ives. The property is well maintained, equipped and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Lucy the owner is so helpful and made the booking process easy and provided plenty of information re the cottage and surrounding area. Plenty of good local pubs and restaurants if you dont want ro cook at home. We would have no hesitation of booking again, we had a wonderful.week and highly recommend Daisy Cottage to anyone looking for a lovely home from home.
Daisy cottage is a lovely property, very clean with all you need for a family holiday. The location is excellent, being so close to the train station and within a short walk to a couple of good places to eat. No need to take the car into St Ives! The train runs every half hour and is cheap. The service and communication from Lucy the owner was excellent from start to finish. We had a great holiday!
This is a lovely cottage , very clean , well presented and is exactly as described.. Plenty of sitting areas for our party of 5 , and everything you could need for a perfect holiday. The garden is lovely and perfect for sitting out in an evening and parking space for 2 cars is a bonus. There is not much in the immediate area except Scarlett's wine bar and the Watermill pub , which we visited and had amazing meals at both . we never saw any shops in the immediate area so this may be a consideration to some people . The train line is only a 2 minute walk away, on level ground, and takes you into St Ives in 10 minutes max, calling at Carbis Bay on the way. The owner, Lucy was most helpful and even texted me to let me know the cottage was ready for us earlier than expected. we would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and would certainly return.
This cottage is ideal for any family wanting to be near to St Ives, Carbis Bay and Lelant. The property itself is immaculate, with excellent furnishings and facilities. It also has private parking at the back which is very useful. Close proximity to the Lelant Saltings rail station (2 min walk away) is a real bonus, as this train line is ideal for easy, cheap and frequent travel in and out of St Ives, avoiding all the traffic and parking hassle. Family train ticket only £10 return! The cottage is in a quiet area, and is a calm 'retreat' after a busy day visiting the wonderful beaches in the area. There are a few nice pubs within walking distance and the wonderful Godrevy beach is a short drive away. Highly recommended!

The frequent branch line train is only 5 minutes walk away and arrives in St Ives in 8 minutes, offering some breathtaking coastal views along the way.
Historic St Ives is renowned for it's cosmopolitan mix of restaurants and cafes, art galleries, beaches and scenery and whether you are simply looking for a week on one of the many beaches or an energetic mix of surfing, golf, walking or diving there is something here for you.
This lovely coastal cottage is also close to the Hayle Estuary, a well renowned RSPB nature reserve and offers great accessibility to St Ives town centre and a multitude of surrounding golden sandy beaches.
For walkers we are on the South West Coastal path which can be followed from the cottage along the Saltings, across the golf course and via the sand dunes and cliffs to Carbis Bay and St Ives. The popular West Cornwall Golf Club with its stunning views of St Ives Bay & Godrevy Lighthouse, is only a short drive away.
Further a field Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Lands End, beautiful Sennen Cove (surfing), Padstow (cooking courses with Rick Stein), Port Isaac (filming of TV show Doc Martin), Newquay (indoor Water World), & St Austell (Eden Project) are all within easy reach either by Car or Train.
Daisy Cottage is the perfect choice holiday home if you want to stay in a quiet and peaceful location but still be ideally placed for exploring the rest of this beautiful part of Cornwall.
