Boasting views across blue flag Meadfoot Beach, this three bedroom holiday home accommodates families & friends, and includes exclusive access to the Osborne Hotel's Health Club *Short term membership fee applies*

The house features a private parking space in the inner courtyard, and there is roadside layby parking directly across the road.

Ground floor

The sea view living room boasts a flat screen TV, DVD player, Wi-fi access and a book and games library.

Complemented by a stylish dining room, the fully-equipped kitchen features country-style fittings and a range cooker. Meanwhile, the back terraced courtyard offers an alfresco dining area.

There is a third shower room & toilet on the ground floor in addition to the separate WC cloakroom, as well as the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

First floor

The boutique-style cottage interior continues in the two king-size en-suite bedrooms, along with a third twin bedroom, upstairs.

Sea views, pastel blues and a colonial-style lattice bed make up the master suite; all complemented by an ornate fireplace, antique pieces and modern fitted shower room.

The second bedroom offers calming neutral décor, a pretty wrought iron bed and period furniture. Guests have the choice between the en-suite’s luxuriously deep bathtub and the couple-friendly power shower.

The third bedroom offers twin beds for your 5th & 6th guests.

For flexible stays, ‘Kilmorie Studio’ next door can be rented at the same time (subject to availability), providing accommodation for 2 further guests.

Location

Tranquil Meadfoot Beach is popular with divers, sunbathers, canoeists, rock pool fans, walkers on the South West Coastal Path, dog walkers (to the north eastern part of the beach) and photographers wishing to capture the beauty of Thatcher’s Rock.

A terrace with café, public toilets and a shop service the beach and just a short walk above, guests will find the elegant Hesketh Crescent. Here guests can benefit from access to the indoor pool, gym, sauna and solarium of Osborne Hotel's health club*.

Guests can also explore the beaches, woodlands and seaside towns dotted along the picturesque 22 mile shore of South Devon.

Torquay’s harbour is within easy walking distance (1.5 miles), as is the Agatha Christie Mile and Living Coasts Zoo. The surrounding area offers golf, extreme sports and a host of National Trust attractions. Torquay is also within easy reach of Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Kent’s Cavern can be explored close to Meadfoot Beach, whilst the village shops along Ilsham Road (0.8 miles) offer a selection of restaurants, cafés, pubs and amenities including a tempting delicatessen and patisserie.

The dachshunds have walked their little feet of, so it was lovely to find that the living room window opens up completely, so I can get some sun whilst they rest and the hubby and daughter go out and play. So sad to leave, could easily have spent another week here! Thank you… Highly recommended and will promote you at home! Another add for the lovely neighbour next door absolute sweethearts! Could happily take the gent home, if only every home had such loveliness!"

Torquay makes a great short break for Golfers in both summer and winter. When many other courses are snowbound or unplayable the clement Torbay weather ensures that a full 18 holes can be completed!
