About this property

Welcome to Latitude Adjustment!! This is a 3bd/2bath beachfront house in the new subdivision, The Breakers. Sleeps 12. Master and second bedroom both have king size beds. The third bedroom is great for the kids. It has a full over full bunk bed with a full trundle and two flip chairs that fold out each to make a twin size bed. Living room sectional has a queen size pull out. High speed Wifi. All bedrooms and living room have a mounted smart TV. You can enjoy your Netflix, Hulu, etc. services or use our provided Sling service. The large deck has plenty of chairs and a table to enjoy the beach away from the crowds. Downstairs below the house features an enclosed outdoor shower, charcoal BBQ grill, and a built-in picnic table. Linens and towels included. Security cameras underneath the house.

We are not property managers, you are renting directly from the owners. It is our goal to give you the best customer service than other houses around, so that you can have the best vacation getaway!

Superb location, super relaxing getaway.

We loved our stay at Latitude Adjustment. If you are up for a remote location with nothing but the beach and ocean to keep you company this is the place. The house itself is very well equipped and deceptively big which meant we all had enough space to mind our own business but then to come together as a family when we wanted to! The porch overlooks a complete ocean view literally 10 metres to the beach. This house could not be closer. We loved having marshmallows on the campfire, sitting on the porch watching the Pelicans dive into the ocean and seeing the odd car or runner pass us by. The weather was great which meant the remote location was fine... if you were unlucky with rain it could be quite remote, the nearest 'big' town is c40 minutes away and Galveston over an hour (with the ferry) but there is a supermarket and a few other places around 10 mins away by car easy to run and grab food when needed! We visited Anuahac nature reserve and saw loads og Alligators, birds and turtles and saw Dolphins in the wake of the fishing boats in Galveston bay. Karyn was really helpful before our trip and always answered questions promptly! A great host. If its a peaceful escape you're looking for this is your place.

Great location and amazing owner!

Can’t say enough good about this house and its location. The owner is amazing and extremely responsive and attentive. Second year in a row here and we will likely be back again next year!

Spring break solitude!

The views did NOT disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the first few days of our stay was the time that waves are fluorescent at night! Although the weather didn’t cooperate entirely as we would have liked, we still had an enjoyable stay. We had everything we needed. The palm trees were a great place to ‘hide’ bread for the birds! Looking forward to staying here again.

Delightful

Staying in a home facing the beach was a delight. The sunrises and sunsets could be seen from our front porch! The beach was mildly busy, but didn’t affect us much. We found sea glass galore and interesting coral and shells washed up on shore. I would recommend a relaxing stay at this lovely home.

We have been traveling to the Bolivar Peninsula since 2001 for our annual vacation. We love the area and the small town feel. We like that it is family friendly with mainly houses to rent as opposed to hotels and condos. It isn't as touristy as Galveston, but it is close enough for a day trip to visit all of the tourist attractions they have to offer. Bolivar has the cleanest beaches in Texas!

Why they chose this property

We have stayed in many a vacation rental home, so we feel like we have learned all there is to what vacationers need and don't necessarily need. Our house is focused on being the perfect place for your family and friends to gather, relax, and enjoy each other; but not too big for a quick romantic get away. It's a clean house with just about everything you will need as far as linens, towels, kitchen items, etc. Because who wants to travel with sheets and dish soap?! We think we have all of the bases covered including what to do and how to keep the kids busy on an unfortunate rainy day.

What makes this property unique

Our favorite thing about our house (if we have to pick just one!) would have to be the deck. Beachfront means there is absolutely nothing besides our palm tree and an occasional passing vehicle between you and the ocean! We enjoy the beautiful sunrise with our coffee in the mornings. And we enjoy visiting with each other in the moonlight with the ocean breeze and the sound of waves at night. We know you will agree with us and will love making memories here just like us!
