This bright, pristine air-conditioned villa is only twenty-thirty minutes from the magical resort of Disney and all other major attractions. We have an on-site 18 hole Championship golf course (par 72).

The idyllic private setting on a larger than average plot, coupled with the close proximity to the major attractions ensures that it provides an ideal holiday retreat for families and golfing parties alike.

Relax on the pool deck with a drink or a meal and watch the glorious sunset over the golf course.

The house sits on a larger than average plot so you are not directly overlooked. The villa benefits from a private, screened, West-facing large swimming pool, and gets sun from mid morning. The pool has an extended deck area for alfresco dining or relaxing in the sunshine. The pool area is not directly overlooked - ensuring your privacy and tranquillity are never compromised.

In addition to the private pool, guests have complementary use of the communal pool if they wish. Guests may also have complementary use of the Highlands Reserve children’s play areas and the private tennis facilities. Racquets and balls are provided in the villa for your use.

There are NO villas behind ours (very private) - just unspoilt golf course and conservation area with mature woodland. However, please be aware that the house backs directly onto the golf course and the golf course management can start early in the morning so there may be some noise from the lawnmowers for a short period of time.

Flexible bedroom layout so 3 couples can have their own bathroom or shower room with a separate bathroom for the children. The groundfloor bedroom and shower-room gives grandparents or teenagers their own space.

Almost perfect

Almost perfect! A little further from Disney parks than we'd have liked , heavy traffic always a problem. The house itself lovely, unfortunately the ground floor double room we found unusable as the air conditioning unit was under the window and extremely noisy.

Lovely spacious property with a beautiful swimming pool

This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely property. This time there were 8 of us sharing ... and because of the size of the house we each had our own "section" and so lived comfortably together. There are two living room areas, a kitchen table, a dining room table and an large outdoor eating table - so lots of room for a larger group. There was a 1 year old in our party who had a travel cot, high chair, buggy, stair gate, and all sorts provided for her - most impressive. My husband commented on the quality of the living room television, which is massive, with the latest technology, and an excellent range of channels available - including UK football ! Unusually for Florida the views are picturesque, and we have twice watched hot air balloons taking off across the valley and floating up towards us as we sipped our coffees by the pool at sunrise. Although this is a quiet residential area on the golf course it is minutes away from a Publix, Walmart, CVS, and an Applebees, an iHOP, and there are excellent Thai and Italian takeaways to hand. There is a wide range of dining within the vicinity ... recommended in the Villa Folder was an incredible (expensive!) steak house named Charleys where my husband and I enjoyed the best steaks of our lives! This lovely property carries our highest possible recommendation, and Carol Dudson who owns it is charming and wonderfully helpful.

Home from home but better weather

This is a fantastic home with all the amenities you could wish for. It is perfectly positioned with the pool overlooking a golf course. The sun is on the pool all day.. We had the pool heating on so it was comfortable but it may not be needed in the summer months. The house is exactly as described and is a very comfortable place to relax after a day at the parks. All the local restaurants are within easy driving distance and the local publix has everything you need if you decide to eat in. Highly recommended and would certainly return. Having stayed between the above dates my Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were delighted that the property not only met the description given to us by the owner however exceeded even our own high expectations. We have vacationed in the Orlando area most years during the last 25 years and can safely say this was by far the best house we stayed in. It offers every modern convenience for a relaxing and comfortable stay and within 30 Mins of the Disney parks and resorts. Davenport, 10 minutes away from the bustle of the busy 192 shopping and dining area, enjoys its own quiet seclusion surrounded by a golf course however within easy reach of its own local supermarkets, restaurants and and take outs (we enjoyed Manny's Chop house in particular offering 'non chain' US eating atmosphere however, wise to book, busy all the time !! ) The house itself sits proud overlooking the golf course and the rolling landscape beyond stretching.for many miles, unusual in itself for generally flat Orlando area without being overlooked by neighbors and nestles at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Being off season we asked and paid extra for the pool to be heated and this was excellent. The garage offers up table tennis along with other sporting equipment and all the accessories needed to enjoy the pool. The general upkeep standard of the house was modern and very clean with an excellent array of TV Channels particularly for UK Sports (Football) enthusiasts and good selection cable Films. We would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone Brian & Yvonne Duffy

Highlands Reserve House

While the house itself is a little dated, the great location more than makes up for it. We spent three months at this property, and enjoyed every day of our stay. The owner Carol, was an outstanding host. On balance, I highly recommend this property.

Max runs the 200 year old family business in Staffordshire and Carol is involved in business development as an Investors in People assessor.
