This charming 2 room apartment is located in Lourmarin, the magical heart of the villages of the Luberon, Bonnieux, Lacoste or Gordes and Roussillon. In this village envied for its restaurants and its Provencal market, 'Le petit in Ollier Lourmarin is located in the historic village center. This former legendary hotel in the village has been renovated into charming apartments. The air-conditioned apartment invites you to relax and explore the area. Through the living room window you can enjoy from the sun of the South enchanting morning. You will observe the life of the village square and the bustling Provencal market. Your eyes will be on the roofs and hills of the Luberon. It is an apartment on the second and top floor consists of a spacious living room with sofa bed 2 places, a comfortable room with a bed for 2, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, Wi Fi, DVD player, plasma screen. Weekly cleaning, linen, sheets provided. Many shops and farmers markets nearby.

This apartment has been completely refurbished in January 2013, decorated and designed by an architect, with high quality services: air conditioning and new insulating joinery.

We ask our guests to bring as much respect in this place that the fun we have to welcome them.

A pleasant surprise 😀

We stayed for four nights and found accommodation comfortable and in the centre of the village. A good choice of restaurants for evening meals.

We would not hesitate in using this accommodation again.

Comfortable apartment in a fantastic location

Lourmarin is one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, and this apartment sits in the heart of the village. It's in an old building full of character which is fringed with cafes and restaurants. There's a wonderful boulangerie downstairs for early morning croissants and baguettes.

Jean-Michel made sure we were comfortably settles in, gave us some useful information and handed over the keys. He also welcomed us into the apartment with lovely gifts - a bottle of wine, juice for our daughter, biscuits, and a box of calissons, a typical provencal sweet. The apartment is spotless, tastefully decorated and has everything you might need. Fresh linen and towels, and comfortable beds. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. There's a washing machine, an iron, a hair-dryer, detergents and cleaning agents.

There's just one negative worth mentioning. Due to the central location of the apartment, it can get quite noisy at night, especially if it's summer and you need to have the windows open. Conversations, loud laughter and scraping of chairs and tables from the pavement carry up to the apartment well beyond midnight. More so at the weekend. So light sleepers might have a problem.

However, that's a price you pay for having lovely cafes and bakeries at hand. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend the apartment for a couple, or small family!

Owner's Response: Pia, her husband and daughter were nice guests and we are happy they enjoyed Lourmarin and the appartment. About the noise in the evening, the appartment is equiped with double glazing and air conditioning so in summer the windows can be closed at night if people are light sleepers.
