About the property

A Stunning Interior Designed House With Fabulous Sea Views.

A 5 bed 'upside-down' house with a light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen on the top floor with gorgeous direct sea views and a lovely balcony from which to soak it all up.

The kitchen area has Corian work surfaces in a pale aqua shade with matching tiled splashback. It is very well equipped and it is a lovely space in which to cook while not feeling cut off from the party! We like to sit at the island unit with drinks and nibbles and then move on to the dining table for dinner.

The living area has a Conran sofa and arm chair and the kitchen chairs can also be used for extra seating.

The first floor has three double bedrooms. The master bedroom has lovely sea views and is a very good size. Bedroom 2 looks over the garden and is also a very good size. This has two singles that can be made up as a double if preferred. The third bedroom is smaller but still has a double bed. There is a family bathroom on this floor that has polished porcelain tiles and a good shower with screen over the bath.

The ground floor provides flexible accommodation as it provides two further receptions that can be used as extra living space or if needed they can also be used as two double bedrooms.

There is also a separate toilet and shower room on this floor. French windows lead on to the private and sunny mature garden which has a stylish decked area for dining or lounging and a kids play area on the lawn.

It is a very child-friendly property with a high chair, a travel cot, toys, kids dvds and books available on request.

There is off street parking for one car to the rear of the property and no parking restrictions on the street at the front and behind the property, so it always easy to find an additional space near the house.

The house is new to the holiday letting market (first bookings in March 2014) which is why we have no reviews as yet. It has been re-decorated over the past 12 months so it will be very clean and fresh for your stay.

Why Nick Austin chose Kent

We moved to Broadstairs from London because we fell in love with it and we still do. It has everything you could want in a British seaside town an The Sunday Times agrees as it recently voted it the BEST PLACE TO LIVE BY THE SEA! The views are stunning and on a sunny day the open plan living area is flooded with light. The mirrored units in the kitchen as well as two huge mirrors mean that the sea view is reflected and expanded to create a real WOW factor! The pale aqua worktops and tiles in the kitchen and the turquoise sofa really add to the effect. The garden is a peaceful haven and all the bedrooms are a good size and stylishly decorated.

What makes this house unique

The sea views, the proximity to the beach and the town and the stylish décor all make this the perfect property for a stay cation in Broadstairs.

House in good position and as described.

Enjoyed our stay in Broadstairs. Nice house but could do with some maintenance. Information in folders was out of date or inaccurate. For instance no food bin under sink for recycling.

Lovely, comfortable home In a quaint seaside town

My family so enjoyed our stay in this home, and in Broadstairs in general. The house is lovely, with a pretty garden and patio for evenings with cocktails and appetizers. There is plenty of space in the home, and whatever you might need for your stay is provided for. We liked the home and its location enough to stay an extra day. The location is convenient to the beach, and all the shopping, sights, pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The owner is very responsive, and the owner and property manager went out of their way to help us with some tricky logistics for an event we were attending. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Stylish, spacious with fantastic sea views.

We were really impressed with how clean, fully equipped and well presented was the inside of the house - I had been a little concerned about the outside looking a little run down but guess this has more to do with proximity to the sea and weathering! We loved the light and airy living space on the top floor. There were 5 adults and 4 children (4yrs and under) and we never felt cramped. The garden was a real bonus. We had a wonderful time and all hope to return next year!

Lovely property for 9 adults

We were a family party. The room at the top had brilliant views and was a good size to accommodate a lot of tall people. We decided to take our own folding table to add to the dining table so we had plenty of room to eat in comfort. The house was warm and well equipped. Broadstairs is a pretty town and we were blessed with good weather and walked to Margate in one direction and to Ramsgate in the other. A good weekend.

Great base for exploring Kent

A group of six university students and three professors stayed here in January. It was a great base for exploring the area -- the rooms were great, parking was easily had on the street in front of the house, and the top-floor kitchen and dining area had great views of the sea! Stores and pubs are conveniently nearby. Stairs are steep and narrow, so not recommended for the mobility-impaired, but everything else was perfect!!

Stone Bay House boasts stunning sea views and is a very short stroll down to the gorgeous Stone Bay (there are cute steps leading directly to the beach only 100 metres away). It is only 1 mile to the beautiful Joss Bay which is a surfers paradise and only a short distance more to Kingsgate Bay and Botany Bay.

Broadstairs is the quintessential British seaside town: a beautiful half moon bay nestling below chalk cliffs; a Victorian promenade with a well-used bandstand; classic crazy golf alongside Morelli's ice-cream parlour that is over 100 years old; and all of this overlooked by the landmark Bleak House of Dickens fame. What could be more perfect for an English seaside holiday? Top this off with the fact that the town is now a gourmet's paradise with fabulous restaurants, bars and real ale micro pubs and you may never want to leave!

Margate is a short drive away or one stop on the frequent train. Here you will find a world class art gallery, The Turner Contemporary, another fabulous beach and even more amazing restaurants, bars ultra-cool retro shops; a vintage lovers paradise!

A short hop in the other direction lies Ramsgate which boasts the stunning Royal Harbour. Again, this is lined with trendy bars and cafes to laze away a sunny afternoon or evening.
