About this property

The Starfish-Oceanfront balcony, kitchen,fireplace

Ground-level condo, kitchen, fireplace, recliner and sofa in front room, ocean balcony.

The Starfish is a one-bedroom condo on the ground level, one of ten condos in my building. Sleeps 2-4 people; king bed in the bedroom, and a double sleeper couch in the front room has all the linens to make into a double bed. Full kitchen, gas fireplace in the living room, and tub/shower combo in the bathroom. The affordable price makes this ocean-view condo a treasure!

Condo also has a smart TV, which adds alot of options for entertainment!

The condo is equipped with basic spices (salt, pepper, garlic salt, lemon pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning) plus oil and oil spray. We also have a drip coffee maker with filters, and an adequate array of cooking pans, pots, bowls, casserole dishes, and utensils. If something you need is missing, please text or call me.

Seafood odors linger long and strong, so please, no cooking fresh seafood in the condo.

Extra folding chairs and playing games are in the closet.

No smoking in condo, or on balcony.
No pets or animals, please.

Our Cancellation Policy is Relaxed and allows 100% rent refund up until 14 days prior to your stay. FYI, if you find it necessary to cancel at any point between booking or 14 days prior, we must charge a small 5% processing fee to cover our expenses.

One block away from Highway 101, easy walking to restaurants, souvenir shops, and a grocery store.

Beach access is via 50 gentle stairs (with two handrails) or a paved ramp to drive onto the beach! In fact, during April - Sept, many people like to park their cars on the beach (right below the condo) when the tide is out! But twice a day, the tide rolls in, and clears everybody out!!!

No pets allowed. Please do not ask to bring a favorite animal. It just doesn't work to mix animals, and folks with allergies in our private condo. I cannot host guests with dogs, because I have other guests, who specifically ask me for "allergen-free" rooms. I do not have pet-friendly rooms.

Parking in a beach town is challenging but manageable. We have 11 off-street parking spaces. Some will accommodate large vehicles, others will not. If you are driving a small vehicle, please be considerate and choose a small parking space. Please be aware that a large 4-door truck may find parking in our lot challenging, and you might find it more comfortable to park on a side street.

At check-in, we issue one parking permit for our lot, and vehicles without permits will be subject to towing.

Extra vehicles can find parking on the side streets of 15th and 14th Streets. Please be advised, that Lincoln City writes tickets if vehicles park in their lot across the street between 1-5 a.m.

Bring your own BBQ to enjoy at the beach, or bring some newspaper and kindling to light a campfire on the beach! (The driftwood is often wet and hard to start without dry wood, but burns great once going!)

At time of booking, you can view the House Manual inside this AirBnb listing and get a code for the front door key lockbox. You can let yourself into our condo anytime after 4 pm.

We love the immediate beach access from the Starfhsg condo! Walk the beach, looking for glass floats among the cliffs and sea grass. Fly kites, or enjoy a beach campfire. Spin a doughnut in the sand with your vehicle...yes, they are permitted on this section of beach!

Only one off-street parking spot is included with this condo.

There are three public electric vehicle charging locations in Lincoln City.

Lincoln County Transit provides busing in the city.

Siletz Bay Airport at Gleneden provides Air Transportation ( (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) .

This is a vacation condo. In an effort to offer an awesome beach experience at a minimal price, we provide clean towels and linens for each guest's stay, but we do not have daily housekeeping, nor provide clean towels daily.

We do provide bath soap bars, complimentary shampoo and conditioner in separate bottles, as well as complimentary coffee for a day or two (depending on how much one consumes :)

For your planning purposes: our rates are based on occupancy. Extra guests over the number of two cost only $8/person/night, and are quoted in your price when you include the total persons in your party. This makes our condo affordable for couples or families. If you arrive with additional guests who are undeclared, our extra person charge is $15/person/night.

It's very easy to step outside and walk around to the edge of the lawn and enjoy the ocean air and sights, downlooking from the bluff to view the tide pools and people on the beach below.

BRING BINOCULARS for your trip! From here, you can watch ships, whales, people, birds, and vehicles stuck in the sand...great fun!

Moonraker is in the upscale Oceanlake Historic District, conveniently located close to a ramp to actually drive onto the beach sand!

For the shoppers in your group, Tanger Mall on Highway 101 in Lincoln city has name-brand outlet shopping for those who wish to cruise the shops, as well as many antique stores and curio shops.

The Chinook Winds Casino and Convention Center is just 2 miles north, with an indoor golf resort, seafood dining, concerts and entertainment, and 23 table games.

Bring some firewood and starter and enjoy a campfire on the beach. It's state-owned property and perfectly legal without any permit!

'Keep the fire small as a lawn chair and west of the vegetation line and extinquish with water, not sand.' (Oregon State Parks rules)

Bring roasting sticks and marshmallows and hotdogs and you'll have a very fun and memorable meal down at the beach :)

The local Chamber of Commerce sponsors a fun program called 'Finders Keepers' and annually hides 3000 hand blown glass sand dollars and Japanese sea floats along the 7 1/2 miles of Lincoln City beach! Be sure to walk the beach in front of your condo and look along the cliffs and among the grass and driftwood for these valuable collector items!

Devils Lake, deep only in terms of historic folklore, is 1/3 mile wide, 3 miles long, and reaches a depth of only 22 feet. Nine species of freshwater fish beckon the fisherman, while water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing, knee-boarding and jet skiing engage other sports enthusiasts. Flowing from Devils Lake is the 'D' River, which holds the title of one of the World's Shortest Rivers. From its source at Devils Lake, the river reaches its destination of the Pacific is a mere 120 feet.

Just 30 miles south is the town of Newport on Yaquina Bay, with it's working fleet of fishing vessels, plus sea lions basking on the docks and dozens of quaint bayfront shops and curio stores and restaurants.

World-famous Oregon Coast Aquarium is also located in Newport, as well as the Maritime Museum and the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Your days will be delightful, whether beach combing for glass floats or shopping or dining or reading in front of the fireplace!

Restful, Safe, and Relaxing
The Starfish cottage has a breath taking view of the ocean and beach. At night you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It has a cement path with steps and a handrail leading to the beach There is also an asphalt road leading to the beach that you can walk down, push a wheel chair down, or drive down. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, towels, and bedding. The kitchen was stocked with basics like oil, salt, pepper, basic herbs, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee.

We are a family of six who love the beach! Fifteen years ago, we bought a sailboat and took our kids sailing in the Caribbean for a year. The experience was priceless on many levels! We brought home a love of warm oceans and boats and all things nautical.

Why they chose this property

We love the beach! This condo is situated on the edge of the Pacific could be better? Plus, it is only one block from Highway 101 and it's quaint souvenir shops, candy shops, and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Winter storms or warm summer breezes are equally delightful from our campfires and long walks on the beach. An oceanfront condo with a fireplace, balcony, and kitchen is the best place to be in the world!
