Beautifully decorated
Overall, very good. Although the location is on the high street, it was quiet. Parking is very good, secure and easy to access. Host very friendly and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. Beds are not super king, although there is room in the bedrooms, but were comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed to be well equipped. Suggestions for future guests Put dressing tables in the bedroom. There was no socket near a mirror which made drying your hair difficult. Nowhere to sit and dry your hair or put on makeup. A magnifying mirror is a good idea.

Ideal Location
Beautiful furnished apartment with everything you would need, with private car parking at the rear. Kenmare is a beautiful village with lots of pubs and restaurants and you are just a walk away. To explore further you couldn't be in a better position. Finally, we received a warm welcome from Tracey and we knew if we had any problems she was close by. Hopefully one day we will return. Fantastic apartment
We had a lovely, relaxing break in this gorgeous apartment. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, we felt very much at home from the start of our visit. Sarah and her team were so welcoming and Kenmare was a great town to base ourselves in. We would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit! Many thanks.

Perfect home base for exploring County Kerry.
My husband, teenage boys and I recently stayed in Sarah’s apartment for three nights. We couldn’t decide which city or town along the Wild Atlantic Way to use as a home base, so I researched all different towns to see where I could find a really nice place to stay. I stopped looking once I found Sarah’s apt and we planned four days around staying in Kenmare. It worked out perfectly. The apartment looks new; it is very clean and nicely decorated. The two bedrooms afforded plenty of space and each has its own full bath. The kitchen is a very good size and has windows that look out over Henry Street, the Main Street in Kenmare. The kitchen has all of the basics; we had a nice breakfast each morning and made dinner there 2/3 nights. The apartment is over a lovely linen shop and the woman working there (I believe it was Tracy but I’m not positive) checked us in and was very friendly and helpful any time we had questions. She suggested an outing - a hike on the Beara Penninsula - that was my favorite part of the trip. The fact that we could go downstairs with a question during the day meant that we had the support of being in a hotel but we had the space, the option to cook, and the affordability of being in an apartment. The location of the apartment could not have been better. It is right on the Main Street which was totally convenient but Kenmare is such a quaint town that noise was never a problem. It was very quiet. The restaurants that I had read were great were just yards away. Kenmare felt like a hidden gem. The town itself is wonderful. It was about a 30 minute drive to Muckross Abbey and House in Killarney. It was a perfect launching spot for exploring the Beara Penninsula, which a friend and multiple people online said would be even better to visit than the Ring if Kerry - fewer tourists but equally beautiful. We went night kayaking in Kenmare Bay and it was our boys’ favorite part of the trip. We loved all of Ireland but Kenmare was all the way around our best stop. The one thing I would say is that they lock the gate to the driveway at night for security, so if you might be out late, just be sure you know how to open the lock. It’s not a problem at all but just a good thing to ask in advance. Book this apartment. You will be glad you did.
