Clean but not very welcoming/ relaxing

The house is new and very well kitted out, and it feels very precious to the owners,we got a long tour explaining how things work and to keep it clean etc. There was a list of potential fines on the walls for: not cleaning fridge/ bbq/BBQ tools/oven; having the air con on and any window open at the same time (including toilet window with the door shut)..among others, each one costing a hefty fee ! The property is situated at the back of the owners house and the owner had been to check on the property while we were out! The owner came to tell us most days about something he had noticed, at one point in stern rapid-fire French that the children's cups were not to be used in the children's tree house followed up with an English translation of our misdemeanors! All together the owners' attitude made our holiday pretty stressful. We were expecting a relaxing time, with our children and friends, Would not recommend unless one likes to be told of on a daily basis ...

Agréable base arrière pour grande escapade.

Maison impeccable et fonctionnelle Propriétaire disponible et discret. Proximité du lac, des rivieres, de la mer agrémente les visites de cette région cathare.

Séjour agréable à Carcassonne

Accueil très agréable. Hôte très disponible et à l écoute. Gîte très propre et fonctionnel pour 9 personnes dont 1 bébé. Très bien situé pour visiter Carcassonne et ses alentours. MERCI pour ce séjour.
