Situation:

The Vineyards is situated in the highly regarded and picturesque Cotswold village of Upper Slaughter, in the Windrush Valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is characterized by its pretty honey coloured limestone buildings and the meandering River Eye which runs through the village towards Lower Slaughter. There is also an 18th Century Manor House hotel.

Downstairs:

Entry to this unique property is via the wonderful large glass door which opens into a tiled hallway with a cloakroom. The hall has been taken back to the original stone walls and leads to an amazing open-plan kitchen/dining area with gorgeous views of the garden and patio area. The kitchen is fully stocked and has state of the art cooking appliances (see house guide) and granite work surfaces throughout.

A large table provides seating for up to 10 guests and plenty of space both inside and outside (patio) for entertaining.

The owners have retained the original character of the building, yet created a wonderful and contemporary home. Floor to ceiling windows and patio doors allow light to flood in!

Across the hallway you can find two further reception rooms; A snug, perfect for the children or to relax and watch Sky, a DVD or a good book. A second sitting room with wood-burning stove, seating and a desk to catch up with work!

Also on the ground floor is a guest double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower.

There is under floor heating throughout the ground floor.

Upstairs:

The master bedroom has a super king bed and en-suite with bath and walk in shower, views through large windows over the garden and beyond. Large sky lights allow the light to flood the room. There are plenty of wardrobes and shelve space.

Family bathroom – Shower over the bath, loo, heated towel rail and a large mirror above the sinks.

Bedroom 2 has a king size bed with en-suite, linen cupboard, wardrobes, window seat and storage

Bedroom 3 has a king size bed with en-suite with shower, wardrobes and exposed wooden beams

Bedroom 4 has a double and storage

Bedroom 5 has two standard singles and storage

Note: Bedrooms 4 and 5 share additional storage along the walk way between the bedrooms

Grounds and Gardens:

The Vineyard has a large garden which is enclosed by stone walls. The garden also contains a children’s play area/tree house!

Parents, please note: There is a small stream at the bottom of the garden.

There is a large patio area outside the kitchen, with a bench, tables and chairs for entertaining and BBQ facilities.

Gravel parking (enclosed by a lockable gate) for up to four cars. Please car share where possible.

Perfect location for a Cotswold family Xmas

Perfect property for a group of up to 10. Beautifully restored adn extended Cotswold house.

Every element was well thought out and the standard was 5 star.

Managed by StayCotswold, I would have no second thoughts about recommending the porperty or the agents.
