Sitting on the crest of a small ridge, this Manoir comprises of the main house and a converted barn set around a beautiful courtyard garden area. The Manoir is set in 10 acres of grounds including more formal gardens, parkland and rolling fields with a large pool and stunning views across the French countryside. The Manoir offers original 17th Century features while providing all the modern conveniences you could want for a fantastic holiday stay.

Set within the walled courtyard, the Manoir and Grange form an L shape around beautiful landscaped gardens and together offer 7 bedrooms.

The Manoir itself has a living room with large open fireplace and a large screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen adjoins the dining area with French doors opening onto terraces.

There are 4 bedrooms within the Manoir that comprise of;

Bedroom 1 is a queen size bedroom with dressing room and en-suite with a bath, WC, sink and bidet

Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 3 is a twin bedroom and shares an en-suite shower room with Bedroom 4

Bedroom 4 is a queen size bedroom

The Grange has the most fantastic double height living room with large open fireplace. There is a second kitchen here and again it is fully equipped with all the modern kitchen appliances. The dining area is next to the kitchen with large French doors opening onto a large dining terrace with seating for 14.

Bedroom 5 is a queen size bedroom, dressing room (with cot) and bathroom with bath/shower.

Bedroom 6 is a queen size bedroom with mansard windows and skylights. There is also an additional mezzanine area which is suitable for a cot or children.

Bedroom 7 is a twin bedroom with mansard windows and skylights.

Bedroom 6 and 7 share an en-suite bathroom with shower.

Outdoor Living

The heated 13m X 7m infinity pool overflows into a lower pool, with a maximum depth of 60cm, making it ideal for very young children. The pools are set away from the houses in a walled garden, with childproof gates, and surrounded by lawns. A small pool cabin has a fridge, tea making facilities and WC.

The Manoir is just a 10 minute drive north of the bustling river-side town Bergerac with its International Airport. It is an ideal holiday home for families and groups in search of tranquillity and privacy whilst being in easy reach of the wealth of interest that the Dordogne has to offer. The Dordogne valley is well known for its abundance of vineyards including Monbazillac, Pecharment and Bergerac AOCs. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. The area has been described the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty. For the more active, you can enjoy hiking, cycling, riding as well as golf, go-karting, ballooning and tennis just to mention a few.

Getting Here

The Manoir is ideally placed with Bergerac Airport situated 20 minutes away.Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter and Edinburgh. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airport and Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris.

Bordeaux airport is an hour and half away with flights from the UK and European cities and international connections via Paris.

Bergerac has a train station which connects with Libourne and Bordeaux where there are direct services to Charles de Gaulle Airport and connections to the Eurostar.
