Feb break from Minnesota

I rented Cove 5 for four weeks - Feb 1st-29th and had a great time. The weather was wonderful - 85+ and sunny every day. The property is a multi-unit facility with a pool/hot tub in a central area. The unit was modern and clean, had everything we needed. We had a day were the water pump went out but it was replaced within 24 hours. We had the power go out 2-3 times but was going within an hour - these things happen at times. Our A/C worked great and internet was strong. I steamed TV on USTV so I could watch English speaking shows. Their TV was fine but all channels were in Spanish. I rented a car ($52/day US) for the first few weeks to do some touring but feel it makes more sense to save your $$ and have the cabs drive you. It was $6 (each way) for trip to Coco where we went for groceries/meals/fun. Our mapping apps did not work so letting the taxi's get us to places was far less stessful. We loved the relaxing atmosphere at Cove and Playa Ocotal. The beach was quiet but nice (black sand). We used Father Rooster's for several meals and fun - it was a block away and easy walk. We met a lot of great people from US/Canada around the pool and our time at Cove at Ocotal. It was what we were looking for - a break from the cold Midwest in February....and a lot of good memories!
