Wonderful relaxing sunny week

Fabulous holiday in a fabulous destination. Apartment was lovely and in a perfect location. Can’t recommend it enough - comfortable and full of character. So much to do in and around La Rochelle I can’t fit it all in! Great food, sports, culture, history, walks, beaches, amazing natural history museum tucked away ... Next time I’d forget hiring a car and use buses, bikes and the train more - Saintes, Bordeaux, even Paris! Sad to leave

Beautiful apartment, lots of fascinating pictures and furniture. Very well equipped kitchen.

La Rochelle is a beautiful location and this apartment is in the heart of the city. Very close to the port and beaches. The harbour and town are delightful and there are endless places to eat. We were met at the apartment by Marie who welcomed us on behalf of the family. The apartment was beautifully clean and Marie was very helpful and gave us lots of helpful tips about taxis, walks, where to shop for food and how to contact her. It is a very 'french apartment' and this added to our stay. The photos on line certainly do the apartment justice. We would (and already have) recommended La Rochelle and this apartment to others.

Stylish apartment in perfect location!

Five of us, 2 adults and 3 children stayed in this apartment. It is a lovely place, perfectly located in the centre of La Rochelle. The harbour, beach, the market, shops and station are all a few minutes away by foot. The apartment itself is within an old block and has been refurbished to a high standard whilst maintaining its original features and characteristics. It is stylishly decorated and furnished and is extremely spacious with a really comfortable layout. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with all the mod cons and more. The owner has thought of everything to make a stay at the apartment comfortable and relaxing and has ensured it has a homely feel. It makes a fantastic home for either a long, or short stay - we were there for 4 nights, but could easily have stayed longer. We'd definitely stay again!
