About the property

4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathroom, views of the golf course, sea and Sheringham point

Our home is a short walk from the beach, shops and local restaurants.

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and we have an additional sofa bed in one of the double bedrooms. There is also a travel cot for use by our young guests. Bedroom 4 has two single beds.

The garden backs onto Sheringham golf course and can be accessed by the garden gate. This also provides access to the coastal walk to Weyborne and beyond. We also have a barbecue for use of our guests in the garage and plenty of soft outdoor seating in addition to the traditional patio furniture

A short walk away is Sheringham beach, which is great for swimming, boogie boarding at high tide and all the usual beach activities, rounders, badminton, sandcastles, walks and sunbathing.

Our home has seating for 10 guests around a large table in the kitchen. There is a wide range of kitchen utensils for eating in and baking a favourite with the children on cooler days. There is a large utility area equipped with washing machine and drying facilities after days at the beach, and plenty of hanging space for wet suits.We also provide beach towels for up to 10 guests.

About Julia Greene

We purchased this home for our summer breaks and family weekends. It is ideal as we can walk to the beach and the shops and as our children get older they can walk to town to the little theatre or to the swimming pool and take runs/ walks along the beach. The train can also take them to Norwich for shopping days a must for all teenage girls. There is also the Poppy line which is the original steam train line which our girls still enjoy.

I grew up in Norfolk and as a child we would spend summers on the North Norfolk coast so we wanted our girls to have this experience too.

Wonderful family New Year stay !

I would highly recommend this house . We stayed as a family over the New Year and couldn't of wished for a lovelier house . The house was bright , clean and very comfortable . The beach and shops are only a few minutes walk away . A large garden which we hope to use when we return for a summer break !!

A fine house in a very attractive seaside town

I booked Fairways because of its size for the celebration of my birthday with my children and grandchildren. We found the house spacious and very well equipped. It is in a desirable area of the town as the estate agents say. The large round table in the kitchen diner, and the similar one in the garden, make the statement that this is a place to celebrare together as friends or family. There are plenty of rooms and one is able to find solitude as well as company. No criticisms.

A spacious well equipped home with ample parking on the driveway. Everything we wanted was within very easy walking distance. Lovely big round dining table with a lazy Susan which my grandchildren particularly enjoyed! Wonderful views from the rear of the golf course and heritage railway line.

Very good location in a quiet neighbourhood, very convenient for town eateries and attractions and well located for a range of good restaurants within a short driving distance.

Pleasant stay in a lovely house, would stay again.

House had everything we needed for six adults for one weekend with three comfortable double bedrooms. Barbeque was a grill rather then the usual sort but it was a lot easier to clean so this was plus. House was clean & comfortable with all the required facilities. All towels & linen provided, with extra towels for beach trips included.

Booking was very easy & Julia (owner) gave us all the information we needed.

Sheringham's a nice small town, with the centre about five mins walk from the house. Beach is about three minutes walk. The heritage railway Poppy line is about 10mins walk away & I'd recommend looking in advance to see if they have anything on when you're planning your visit. We did the fish n chips train which was a nice evening for the parents.

Felbrig Hall is the local NT property, which is worth a visit. The area is beautiful so I'd happily revisit & stay at the same place again. We stayed a weekend but could easily manage a week.
