Gorgeous house, in the jungle by the sea.
Our living room with big couches to lounge relaxing on while watching the birds, sloths and monkeys in the trees. Three private spacious ensuite bedroom casitas with private bathrooms and shower, fan, lock on the door, and screened windows. Casita Amor has a King bed. Jungla and Serena Casitas have queen beds. Artisan stone tiles on all of the floors and handcrafted woodwork throughout. The kitchen is equipped with, stove, refrigerator and cooking basics. The dining area is part of the kitchen area and open to the captivating gardens. We have a path to the little stream running across the back of the property with a small fresh waterfall and natural pool nearby. Our home is located in Playa Chiquita (5km south of Puerto Viejo) in a quiet serene, safe neighborhood a short walking distance to beaches and restaurants.

Great beaches and restaurants are an easy walk from our house. House is surrounded by gardens and tropical trees. We are located in the small town of Playa Chiquita. 5 km to Puerto Viejo. 350 mts to the Chiquita beach. 300 mts to a excellent grocery stores and several wonderful restaurants and bars. Paths behind the house for hiking. Some of the activities in our area: cycling, swimming, snorkeling, diving, horseback riding, kayaking, zip-line, rafting tours, chocolate tours, massage, healing spas, walks in nature reserves.
The main coastal road is generally flat and well-paved and biking is a typical method of transport. Bikes are available for rent at the nearby grocery store. A public bus traveling from Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo (and vice versa) passes every few hours on the main road 300 meters from the house. Cahuita National Park is also accessible by bus. Parking is available just outside the gate of our house.

The Artisan Tile center piece of our house is a a compass rose, sometimes called a windrose, or Rose of the Winds. This is a figure on a compass, map, nautical chart, or monument used to display the orientation of the cardinal directions: North, East, South, and West—and their intermediate points.

We are located 350 meters away( a short walk) from the pristine beach of Playa Chiquita, a white sand and clear water beach that can only be access by trails. Playa Chiquita is an active member of the Blue Flag Program, which works towards sustainable development at beaches.

River and Sea Kayaking: A short distance from our house is the beaturiful beach Punta Uva where you will find available Kayaks and Tours. Then paddle up the river through the gorgeous rainforest where you can expect to spot monkeys, sloths, colorful birds, river turtles, bats and iguanas.

Up behind our house are trails into the jungle. Or continue down the road to the southeast corner of Costa Rica lies the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge not far from our house, stretching to the border of Panama. Home to monkeys, sloths, a great variety of birds and much more; the area is rich with wildlife.
