A beautiful location with access to a wide variety of activities.

The chalet was fantastic! A great location for peace and surrounded by nature. The chalet was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is super comfortable. The deck looks out over the most awesome view of the mountains across to Italy. Christine was a wonderful host and gave us some great tips of places to visit. Her two dogs also kept us company! Sospel is a 40 minute walk away and has good restaurants, a supermarket, bank and pharmacy. Having a car meant we were able to travel around the area which was fabulous and gave us more options, although trains and buses run from Sospel to neighbouring towns. We were able to wild swim just a 30 minute walk away in the most beautiful pools. Hiking trails run from the chalet and there is paragliding from the top of the chalet's mountain. The wildlife around the chalet was fantastic with pygmy owls, bats, butterflies, lizards and even two donkeys! We hope to visit again. Suzy and Jens

Charming chalet with panoramic views

Christine’s little chalet lies nestled in the hills above Sospel, surrounded by olive trees and hiking paths. On Christine’s recommendation we decided to travel there without a car, which can be easily accomplished as there is a direct train from Nice central station (takes about 45 minutes) to Sospel. The journeys from and to the train station with our luggage were made possible by Christine’s friendly housekeeper, who gave us a lift in her car. The rest of the times when we were exploring the area we did so on foot: the village with shops, the station, bars and restaurants is a nice 40 minute stroll away and some of the area’s excellent hiking and mountain biking paths can be accessed right behind the house. The nicely decorated chalet itself is small but functional, with a large decked patio ideal for morning breakfasts in the sun and beautiful views over the valley. Très jolie!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Christine sehr genossen. Das Chalet liegt idyllisch in der Natur mit fantastischem Ausblick. Es ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem Komfort. Auf der Terrasse kann man sehr schön sitzen und den Ausblick genießen. Christine ist eine sehr nette und bemühte Gastgeberin. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit Kaffee, Brot und Butter überrascht, außerdem hat Christine uns mit leckeren Spezialitäten der Region und mit selbstgemachter Marmelade verwöhnt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in Sospel Urlaub machen.

Chalet très agréable et magnifiquement situé

Situé sur les hauteurs à 10 minutes de Sospel, le chalet est très confortable et très agréable. Idéalement situé pour découvrir les vallées de la Roya et de la Vésubie. Endroit parfait pour profiter du calme de la montagne. Très belle vue de la terrasse. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire. A louer sans hésiter.

Idyllisches Chalet in beeindruckender Lage

Wer einfach mal so richtig ausspannen und es ruhig haben möchte, hat hier genau das Richtige. Spa Angebote wie das Jakuzzi und die Sauna runden einen erholsamen Aufenthalt ab.

What makes this property unique

The stunning views, the sunny location, and the variety of possible activities make this the ideal holiday spot. Mountain lovers, nature lovers, beach lovers, or just those looking for a quiet spot to reflect are all catered to here. Whilst the chalet has a pleasantly removed feel, you are no more than a short drive away to all sorts of exciting locations (Monaco, Nice, Italy, etc). The picturesque village of Sospel, with its famous Baroque church and fading frescoes, has also more than enough to charm holiday-makers with a vibrant village life and traditional restaurants. The property that the chalet is on has been landscaped with great care and attention to detail: the endless olive groves, the variety of trees, and the vegetable garden should please those who notice this sort of thing. The chalet has been built to be as energy-efficient as possible and to respect its natural surroundings, using ecologically-friendly materials such as bamboo, cork, and tamarack. The terrace however is its most priceless asset, ideal for eating a sunny and lingering breakfast or a romantic supper.
