The ONLY place to stay in Tuscany!!

  • 5 of 5

Luccia and Andre were the BEST hosts ever!! We were treated as honored guests and made to feel welcome as family. Such lovely people to spend a few days with!!

The house is GORGEOUS!!!! and the location is great as a jump off point to go see Florence and Sienna. Surrounded by Olive groves and Vineyards - beautiful landscapes.

They helped us make reservations and gave great ideas on where to go. And on our last night made us a delicious Tuscan dinner.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay - the house and bedrooms are very tastefully appointed, the beds very comfortable. Huge breakfast every morning. We were able to do laundry which helped keep our suitcase weights in check.

Definitely the highlight of our first trip to Italy!

✨Lucia and Andrea were simply AMAZING!✨

  • 5 of 5

We conversed with Lucia ahead of time, several times to get information on local recommendations and she was amazingly helpful! I unfortunately was suffering a flare up in my herniated disc, so while our trip to Italy was clouded by my pain, by the time we arrived to their B&B it was exactly the rest we needed! Can I just tell you how comfortable the beds at their B&B were?

We had just come from a rental with terribly hard beds and their beds were the most comfortable of our trip! Yes, our trip could have been better if I weren’t in pain, but we made the most of it and staying at their B&B was a highlight of our trip! Truly wonderful, compassionate couple who simply adore each other and sharing their Tuscan lifestyle with us was amazing! The food was so fresh, from local farms and when we came back early on Easter and needed dinner, Andrea generously made us an amazing pasta dish with local ingredients. My only wish is that I didn’t have pain while staying there, but they were so understanding, we just can’t recommend them enough. Oh, and that glorious rain 🚿? was divine for my back!!!

Owner's Response: Thanks Holly for your sweet words, I'm grateful. It was a real pleasure to host you and get to know you because you are a fantastic family! When my guests are happy, I am also because my motto in this work is: your home away from home. I hope your back pain is over.

Luxury in Chianti!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we stepped into Un Angolo di Provenza, we were overwhelmed by the welcoming and generosity of Lucia and Andrea. We had been a bit anxious due to some issues renting a car, but once we met our gracious hosts, that all went away. They welcomed us with hot tea, and we sat and talked as if we had already known them. The fireplace was on so the house was toasty and Pasha {their sweet dog} greeted us as well.

Their home is warm, cozy and beautifully decorated with flair by Lucia. What a beautiful Italian gem located in the countryside! The rooms were so clean, comfortable and with a outstanding view of the sun opening as Andrea says. Lucia prepared an unbelievable breakfast each morning that was more delicious than any other cafe that we had been to. She used lovely dishes and serving ware for our personal buffet. We were very content after enjoying a plethora of breakfast items to set out to see the beautiful terrain. Staying with them was the highlight of our trip! Andrea gave us many tips on what to see while staying in this area. It was a nice break from all the hustle and bustle of the busy cities. We will be recommending this chateau to all who will be visiting Florence, and hopefully we will be able to return some time in the future.

Christmas with our new Italian Family!

  • 5 of 5

What a magical stay in Tuscany with Lucia, Andrea and Pasha their adorable Golden Retriever! Everything written in previous reviews is spot on so I won’t repeat what has been stated before. I will instead say that it was everything we hoped our time at this lovely property would be - a cozy Tuscan “nest” with lovely hosts.

We arrived late on Christmas Eve night as arranged and were immediately welcomed as family. We enjoyed a lovely dinner together (Lucia is a gifted chef) and settled into the start of what we know will be lifelong friendship - truly! We love traveling to Italy and always enjoy the history, art, architecture, food and wine, but it is the people we meet and the connections we make that become our most treasured memories.

Andrea and Lucia, you go above and beyond to make certain your guests enjoy their time with you. I loved that our stay ended with not a “goodbye” but “until we meet again” for we surely will. Mille gratzie!

Our resort is particularly favored because it is situated in the middle of two major cities like Florence and Siena. The activities that can be done in this area are many. From the various sports that can be practiced in the appropriate places to hike or bike riding, visits to the museum centers, the typical villages and famous Chianti as San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Castellina in Chianti, Radda, Greve. In the town of Greve in Chianti you can visit the abbey of Badia a Passignano Set in a charming and delightful village, or the Romanesque church of San Piero in Bossolo. You can admire the unspoiled landscapes also doing a balloon flight. The country is full of restaurants and farms where you can do tastings of wine and oil and typical products, as well as buy local crafts: the most famous perhaps the ceramics of Montelupo Fiorentino, where you can also practice golf, as well as to golf club of. A few kilometers there are also various stables where you can rent horses for excursions or take riding lessons. There are also tennis courts and swimming pools. Or for those who want to go to the beach, can be reached in 45 minutes from the popular area of Versilia. The many tourists who usually frequent the area of Chianti belong to various categories of people, and some come from all over the world; remain so pleased environments and landscapes that invariably come back every year and in greater number.

The things that I think are most appreciate, in addition to the kitchen and to the climate, the hospitality, the beauty of the place, the great offer artistic and monumental heritage of the whole district and the variety of initiatives that mainly in the summer, but then ultimately the whole 'years have available. Not for nothing Tuscany, Florence and Chianti, in particular, are among the most visited places in the world. In our town, but also in neighboring countries, taking place from June onwards various pageants with parades and banquets in the streets. In short, a general festive atmosphere which infects from country to country, in Certaldo Alto, another medieval village, from which you can admire a stunning valley from the battlements of the towers held a party ancient, now called Merchandise, which attracts hundreds of artists from around the world. I truly believe that our beautiful villages able to combine the beauty, the slow rhythms, typical of the countryside, with modern technology, without losing its characteristics rather enhancing them to the maximum. The human side is always the first place and to meet the needs of visitors gives you the best, because we know that one of the fundamental resources of our country. And then we have this innate taste for the 'good' and the art that makes it so much that we keep to our homes, to our traditions and our territories, so normally you will stay in accommodation really typical and special, tastefully furnished and harmony , framed by lovely gardens and rolling hills that nature has wanted to donate.
