Lovely time !
We stayed at Villa Katrina in June 2018 for a large family holiday so we had all generations there, from an 8 month old baby to 65 plus years.
We were welcomed on the day by the owners parents who were extremely welcoming and friendly, they had put a few platters of food for us in the fridge and plenty of water bottles and even a few bottles of wine which was very well received by all!
The villa was lovely and clean and as described, it has everything you could possibly require for self catering utensils and every room has its own bathroom which you don't always find, all we needed to buy was our food.
Pool was lovely and clean and very refreshing in the 30 degree heat we had all week.
The closest town Medulin was within walking distance about 10-15 mins walk, the routes you can take aren't really pram or buggy friendly though. Restaurants can be found on route, or walk further to habour and beach.
A large Lidl an another supermarket is a few minutes walk away which was handy for everything with plenty of ATM's if needed.
Pula is a short drive away so a car or taxi is recommended. I didn't personally go but some of the family did and found it lovely and quaint with lots of restaurants and worth a trip.
The owner has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process and answered all our queries very promptly. And his sister helped with translating on arrival via phone as his parents were not confident with English as the owner couldn't be there to meet us on this occasion so it all worked out lovely!
Mosquitoes were a pain but only because us Brits aren't used to them but the villa did provide the plug in repellents throughout the property and the local supermarket supplied plenty of spray that worked for us.
We really enjoyed our stay and thanks to the owners family for the whole experience we and would come again !
