Good, with irritations

The property is in a great setting but the description was misleading. The bedrooms are up some extremely steep, narrow and precarious stairs, whilst the only toilet is on the lower level. This is a complete nightmare if you should need the toilet during the night. Also, the property is within the grounds of the owners' own home. However, the owners were themselves away on holiday on our arrival date. We were assured that their daughter would "welcome us". However, despite arriving exactly when we said we would, there was nobody at the property. We found it a considerable cheek to be asked if we would be able to leave early on the date of departure to accommodate cleaning and laundry for incoming guests. Whilst we enjoyed our holiday overall, we certainly would not return to this property!

Charming property and location!

We've just returned from a weekend stay in this property and were so impressed with the property itself and the location. The house is clean and well equipped and has a rustic charm to it which we loved. The location in a wooded residential area is tranquil and picturesque, and a short drive or half hour walk from the beach and village amenities which included a lovely bakery and pizzeria. Valentine was warm and friendly, and everything that we needed was provided in the house. There's lots to do in the area and we would have liked to have stayed longer! Thank you Valentine for a wonderful stay!

A superb location for walking, beaches and capturing the way of local life. The house is spacious and very well equipped. The owner, was amazing at helping us sort out an unexpected personal problem! Would highly recommend.
